So you can hit harder than a guy who lifts a skyscraper but hasn't been shown punching? Or has but it hasn't launched someone over the horizon?
Link has been shown swinging his weapon. Sauron has been shown swinging his weapon thus your analogy does not apply to my examples which have happened.

I've already added to that; Guy lifts Skyscrapers but the one time we see him throw a punch it knocked a guy back less that your best. You woudnt say you can hit harder because of it. Hell I've seen Superman (comics, animated or Smallville) hit people and not have them move in some instances.

Kratos wrestles skyscraper sized titans. Spiderman (games) can throw cars around. Alex Mercer (Prototype) can punch through tank armour and hurl them down a city block. Knuckles (Sonic) can lift up, throw and punch through giant rocks. Dante can brush off skyscraper sized statue punches. Asura can punch out planet sized beings.

Yet in all of their games, even against human level mooks, their strikes can end up only launching the person 1 foot back. As far as a normal persons punch would. Would you saying these obvious superhumans are hitting as hard as yourself?

Edit: Closer to TP? We've already established that stikes with the Ball and Chain are incredibly powerful. I know it, you've agreed on this. What do you think happens when this powerful strike hits a mook? Do they shatter into bloody chunks? Do they get knocked back across the room like with what happened to something a hundredfold the weight? No, they get knocked back as far as they would with any other weapon.

Welcome to game combat.

Edit2: Still worthless as its a blade, not blunt weapon.

That is neither here nor there. Superman has hit people off the planet FYI. Look I am just comparing two characters and the damage they cause by using their weapons. You can cry all you want and pretend Link eviscerates people when he swings his weapon but it isn't true. He isn't Gabriel Belmont or Kratos.

Sauron does not even have to directly hit the characters to launch them backward. When the guy's body explodes he knocks down vast armies off their feet. When Dorf dies he just shits his pants.

And there you go. The 'no real strength if not knocked back' argument is foiled.
