True. Currently we have one in Injustice, and so far, beyond the 'Oooh let's see Superman punching the crap out of character X' there's not much interest.

Same. Billy's been given the short shaft recently with these alternate timelines (Flashpoint is another).

Eh, I really hope this is not the most popular opinion out there. There are many ways of playing Superman as he is that are much more interesting than that.

Superman only needs to be less boyscout, IMO, a little bit more bad ass would not hurt.
