Nova/Quasar were able to give him somewhat of a fight at that point in time. Thanos later killed full Nova Force Nova, while Quill with the Cosmic Cube was fighting Thanos. 😬

And then he got vaporized by the guy Thanos kicked the shit out of.

Afro magus was amped the first time he fought Thanos.

It was speculation LM could of killed the heralds with one shot, hell Odin didn't do that to Surfer alone with one shot..by your logic that puts LM above Odin. .
