I dont even know if thats an after the credit scene. this movie may have only 1 after credit scene.

Anyone else surprised by Bautista? I thought he was going to be a big glaring weak point in the film, but he ended up doing great.

I think it's close. But that is partially due to the fact that I find that Avengers doesn't hold that well on repeat viewings. The sense of awe and excitement I felt while watching GotG ultimately paled in comparison to the first time I saw Avengers.

That is good to hear.

I was also worried about him especially after watching him in the new riddick movie.

It wasn't that he was bad in it he just didn't seem to really to bring anything exciting to the role he played.

I thought the movie was great. Not better than WS but still cool. I was a tad disappointed in the humor but that just because I felt that they could actually go all out with it but didn't.

Loved the humor.. Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel both steal the film..
It isn't better than Cap"Winter Soldier or The Avengers but still good.

Chris Pratt: good in the role of Peter Quill/Starlord
Zoe Saldana: Okay but could have been better
Cooper/Diesel: Steal the film
Javier Bardem: good, but wanted to see him more..
Karen Gillian: Been a fan since her Doctor Who days, so yeah she is good
Lee Pace: Pretty good villain , good scenes
Dave Batista: He is okay, felt at times he was going to start power bombing folks though
ah, Thanos: 'Nuff said there
Michael Rooker: Good, but slightly underused
all in all I'd give this 8/10

I hate to rank films (of the same studio & type) against each other when both are good, because if you say one is better than the other then for some reason people think the lower one sucks now because of the rank order.

anyhow this is my rankings of the MCU, IMO , & in no order besides the tiers.

Great Tier:

- Avengers
- Cap2
- Guardians of the galaxy
- Ironman 1

Good Tier:

- Cap1
- Thor1
- Incredible Hulk
--------------------------------------------

Mediocre Tier:

-Ironman 2
-Thor2 (would be Good Tier if the darcy and pals parts were cut out or cut short)

- Ironman3

Shit Tier:

That was a Celestial. It's modeled directly after one in the comics. Also Gamora points out that Knowhere(where they meet the Collector) is basically a space station/mining facility built into the head of a dead Celestial.

Also, I have never laughed so hard in a Marvel movie. This has tons of humor and is so much better for it.
