Hulk was fighting back. Darkseid got the initial blast in and couldn't even counter Doomsdays counter assault. At another time Darkseid fled from an encounter against Doomsday.

Implication means nothing especially when we have seen him tank worse shots. So if I threatened hulk with a stick then the implication would be I could hurt him with it?
I love how you try to change the subject and bring up stuff I never even mentioned. Also did you miss the part where in the same story superman got amped and still couldn't beat doomsday (physically)? So I can safely call bull on that.

There is nothing Darkseid can do in a straight up fight to beat him. He needs to take countermeasures to win. Superman can win according to him.

He didn't dominate him, he got the advantage briefly and the Guardians quickly surrendered and gave Raker up as a prisoner. Fight consisted of Raker putting a construct around DS's head and caused an explosion.... they both crash to the ground and all that's damage is DS's yellow suit (no damage to his body just clothes). Raker grabs the shovel and that's it. OVER-EXAGERATION by your part. So again no damage, non-hit means your arguing oversomething that never happened. Canon.
Exactly! fight smart not just be a brute which goes with the quote you posted. He has other abilities other then strength. Also where's the interview link? But he had no physical answer against H/P Doomsday, but then again neither did Superman or the entire Green Lantern Corps and countless others. Then there are other versions of Doomsday DS would destroy physically but not H/P. Which isn't that shameful. Also to note DD got the advantage when he slashed DS from behind. Huge miscalculation on DS, which he would not repeat.....or I would hope not.
Of course, Superman beat him fair and square in Apokolips Now #1, but one on one DS has a better record against Superman then vice versa. Again your just going by the low showings.
Not sure why you keep saying canon, as never once did I argue anything wasn't. In fact I said all what we were talking about WAS canon. Read the words and understand them.
