Agreed. I have no problem with DLC, or offering a "buy it all at a discount" offer.

What I don't like is when they want you to pay for it before seeing what will even be available.

Me personally, I'll probably buy it, but only once it's on sale on GMG or something, and only if it looks like it's worth the money.

Same here.

But yeah, that current price for the pass. Ugh, and I thought the kombat pass's price in MKX was pushing it at first. $40?

So to play the full game I need to buy the game and the extra game that completes the game, or I can buy the super version of the game that gets me the game, the extra game and then the extra game stuff that comes out later.

Do I get to play the game if I just buy the game?

I keep having to explain to my friends that this is only for all of the DLC in one combined package, and NOT to play the game or go online.

Some people need to read.

Personally, I'm not buying a season pass until I know exactly what is entailed therein.

Another game I wish was delayed if it meant not dealing with this downloadable BS. I wouldn't mind waiting 'til sometime in October for it so everything's packaged together nice. Would be a more suitable release date for a Batman game anyway.

Hopefully, the base game without any DLC attached won't be any worse or feel any less incomplete than Arkham City without the Catwoman sidestory... Whose to say for now though?

Earlier this week, we announced the Season Pass for Batman: Arkham Knight. While the story of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Trilogy will come to a close on June 23rd, we are excited to continue telling stories and delivering more content to explore and play through in the 6 months following the game’s release. We’ll be building more narrative, more missions, more challenges and more characters and vehicles that we want players to experience, even though they didn’t fit into the storyline of Batman: Arkham Knight.

We’ve heard from our community that you want more information on what we’ll be delivering in the Season Pass. While we aren’t ready to unveil every aspect of the content we’ll be developing, we would like to share more detail now to give you a better sense of the scope of the Season Pass.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family
An all new prequel story expansion in an entirely new location where you play as Batgirl for the very first time in the Arkham series - check out the first render of Batgirl.

The Season of Infamy
Play as Batman in all new story missions featuring legendary super-villains invading Gotham City, with new story arcs, missions and gameplay features.

Gotham City Stories
Play as Batman’s key allies in narrative missions extending their storylines, from both before and after the events in Batman: Arkham Knight.

Legendary Batmobiles with Themed Tracks
Drive the most iconic Batmobiles from Batman’s 75-year history, on custom-built race tracks, each themed to that Batmobile’s specific era. Every Batmobile will be drivable across every race track.

Crimefighter Challenge Maps
Engage in a series of new challenge maps utilizing the unique play styles of Batman and his allies.

Character Skins
A variety of skins from across the eras for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman.

As we fully ramp up development on the Season Pass, we will be sharing even more details on each monthly content drop. We hope you enjoy playing Batman: Arkham Knight as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.

WB Games

I'm freaking pumped for Batgirl!

I'm not... but that could change in the future depending on what they show of her combat-wise in future trailers and such. Right now the content of the season pass feels like a tough sell for me, especially for something in the $40 range. Things like race tracks for the batmobile seem gimmicky, but I guess we'll see how all that goes soon.

if they made the batmobile skins usable in single player, and there was a batman 89 skin... then I might be more on board with it.

That's what, 60-67% of the cost of the actual full game?

I don't bother. I'm the type of person who will sink 50-60 hours into a game and then just suddenly stop playing it. I lose interest. Only a few games have held my interest longer than that (Skyrim, Fallout 3, TF2 and Battlefield).

Even I did buy the seasons pass now, I would never play it because of the reason above. I wait until I want to play the game again (2-3 years later) and then pay for it. It';s even better on Steam because you can get the pass for 75% off!

I've always wanted to play as Batgirl, she'll probably play as a cross between Nightwing and Catwoman, and have the gadgets of Batman. Looking forward to playing as her.

I think I'm just gonna wait for the GOTY Edition.

It depends if I'm still playing the Witcher 3, or if the game is highly rated as the first two.

Aw I was hoping for the chance to swap out characters in exploration gameplay as well

I figured it prolly wouldn't work like that. At least it'll add more variety to combat challenge maps, but meh.

I don't know how many of you play on PC or plan to pre-order, but GreenManGaming are doing a deal right now where you can get 40% off of Arkham Knight. Both regular AND premium edition.

So you could get the game and the season pass for less than the actual retail price of the game upon release.

Have to say, it's ****ing tempting.
