In any case, joke aside, that debate rule is false. I even did a once-over on the rules to make sure the others hadn't added anything since I last checked. It's a way to determine character power, but not even close to the way. Be careful when trying to present your opinion on comic interpretation as fact.
As far as I'm concerned, if there haven't been retcons or massive changes in power set and portrayal, feats from decades ago can be as valid as one's that happened this week. The decidedly modern trend of suggesting characters should move tiers because of something they did in this month's book alone is, imo, a cancer to constructive debate. That's an opinion like anyone else's, but no more or less valid from a forum ruling perspective.
