When you start taking quotes that aren't Canon or start making rather large assumptions, it just devalues your entire thread. I was hoping he might actually see that after such a lengthy debate, apparently not.

As for my comment on the TOR Boards, it was linked by people who think Revan can Challenge Sidious (seriously, there were like 400 posts in that thread before the mods deleted it for excess of flaming) so I had to shut them down somehow...

See, I actually agree with this. I've always felt it was unwise for Ant to include things authors say through e-mail and such as official, credible sources. Things said in interviews are about as far as I'm willing to go. Ant constantly badgers these guys about Revan and it's kinda lame and imo, misleading.

Also, I do personally think Revan could put up some measure of a fight against Sidious. Just imo.

Agreed, as could Surik, Windu, Anakin, and the rest of our "Most Powerful" list IMO, just none of them bar Luke/Yoda would stand a chance of actually emerging victorious.

But these arguments were consisting of "Revan opening up to both sides of the force could one shot Sidious"
"Revan's a far superior Lightsaber duelist to Sidious"
"Revan has better feats than Sidious" etc.

Surik would get stomped by Sidious 😐

Reading through the linked thread btw, I find myself agreeing with Legend. Revan was a fairly great Jedi, it was the Council that was complete dogshit.

Anyone who was on those boards before the Revamp knows how ridiculous that statement is.

No one moderated them, every discussion on Revan or Sidious or anyone major turned into a flame war, whilst anything on unknowns like Cin Drallig, or say Caedus (Who was an unknown to many who used the TOR boards) turned into an insult fest where poor little 10 year olds pretended to have great lives whilst having nothing better to do than Troll boards....

That argument for one. He backed it up with a quote that says Revan would have been the Jedi standard before Exar Kun came along and made the Order super conservative. As I said, pretty much everything was really the dumbass Council's fault. You all ripped on Revan for his ruthlessness in the Mando Wars, but Revan wouldn't have needed to go that far to win if the most of the Order hadn't of stayed out of the war and if the Council hadn't of let the Mando's wreck the Republic so badly. Revan saved the galaxy from the brink of defeat while they had their thumbs up their asses. He was a hero.

Which is partially why they were good. It was actual fun. Plus they also had far better posters back then. So yeah...

Don't know where you're getting that we all "ripped on Revan"...

When it came to the Galactic Battlefront, you won't find a greater military Genius than Revan, he obliterated Moral and did what he had to to survive, our point was that what he did wasn't the Jedi way.

And that Surik was a better commander when it came to specifically fleets or ground forces, but I don't want to start that debate with Ant here.
