Shaw vs MOS Superman

I don't see why that would harm Superman to the point of defeat.

Are you saying someone in Superman tier can't knock him out?

Superman hits him 10 times as hard as he can. Shaw just absorbed essentially 10x the force Clark can output, and he can unleash that all at once. And no matter what Clark does, he will only fuel Shaw.

Isn't supes fast enough to dodge anything shaw throws though?

Can't Superman just quickly break his neck? I mean before Shaw is amped enough to resist ... we saw that it takes him a long time to power up.

Or why not just fly him into the sea and drown him? (just checked OP, drowning is out) but Supes could bury him, take him someplace to gas him... basically any form of stealing his oxygen... Fly him to the arctic and let him freeze to death.....

Not sure how Shaw could win this.

He will have the energy of 10 of his punches to return. That does not directly equate to 10x the force of a single punch. Regardless, even in a featureless environment as others including myself said, he could still be suffocated, held face down and smothered, Supes could walk up to him and slowly snap his neck if that's what it ends up taking.

If you're going to try and lorebang and say that because we don't explicitly get a timetable for what Clark can figure out and how quickly so he has no chance then there was no point in you making an empty argument in this this thread. As said above, best case scenario for Shaw is a stalemate. I still don't see that happening, however, as he can only put out what's put in. He returns ten of Clark's punches in one hit, hurts him, has the upper hand, and then he's back to hitting with nothing but his regular strength. He has no finisher and no means of sustaining himself against Supes unless he's constantly hit with powerful blows.

If you want to assume that Clark from MOS is utterly moronic despite showings to the contrary in the film then go ahead, but nothing that I saw tells me that in time he wouldn't figure out that he needs to approach Shaw differently. Being that Shaw has nothing but his powers fueled by Clark's attacks to sustain the fight with, I'd say again that in time Supes figures it out and uses a rather subdued means of killing him.

There's a reason that you're the only one coming back at this trying to say that Shaw stands a chance.

In the comics, Nimrod nearly killed Shaw by knocking him into space (Shaw would have died if one of the other mutants present didnt increase his mass and cause him to fall back down to the Earth)...

I point this out to simply say that suffocation is undoubtably a sure fire way to kill Shaw...

Superman levitates just above Shaw's reach, and waits until Shaw eventually dies of old age. 😛

Scenes of this dodging showing.

I guess you didn't see him catch a 40mm grenade from the launcher.

Supes takes Shaw into space and throws him into the sun. /thread

Shaw rapes him and the more super resists the harder shaw thrusts. Super even sucks it clean afterwards.

What a shiity character

what showing of Clark not being moronic in a fight?

Shaw gets choked out as soon as supes realizes he absorbs energy.

How?

Where Shaw has experience dealing with other super powered people, the only people Clark knows have powers are dead

Quit bumping your stupid hyperbole thread..

Nimrod owning Shaw with suffocation being the intended killing mechanism...
