People with Aspergers (assuming Astner has it) are able to behave in a manner that is not hurtful to other people. Leaning towards autism on the spectrum is not an excuse for harmful behaviour, nor for other character flaws.

Well, unless, of course, the person is incapable of higher social functions. The "spectrum" can get quite severe.
