However, calling abhi a simpleton would be an insult to simpletons.

Well tbh, the way i see it, Abhi is not a complete idiot. He's just bias (toward Superman and everyone related to him). Which is why he tends to lowball Thor and anyone related to him.

Banned for a week?

But enough is enough. I see no point in continuing this conversation.

So, I bow out of this conversation and thread.

I have never been banned for a week. Maybe that's on your ban-log, but mine so far only has a one-day ban.

Good. You won't be missed.

Here are the bios, one from v3 the other from all new. And they honestly should confirm it. Sorry that they're not edited, i just sometimes have problems with editing.

Zoom in to Infinity's first appearances in the issues of Thor, it says: "...Infinity's force tapped by Odin....creating an astronomical manifestation."

2) http://i.imgur.com/HZGnuXH.jpg?1

"Odin added Infinity's powers to his own...which were later stolen and cirrupted by Hela" (---> a clear reference to Odin's other self).

That should confirm it, no?

Yeah, that should do it. I was just saying what was actually stated on panel, nothing more.

But the restoration of the universe was still done by an amped Odin, no? And it was outright stated that the destruction was caused by the silver of that power and Odin restored the damaged universe by reabsorbing it. That would drastically reduce Odin's role in that scene.

"Extinguishing stars in Asgard dimension."

So, it wasn't even the regular universe?

What an underhanded insult!

But as you can see, I haven't even brought up Superman in this thread. I'm simply discussing some feats, so I don't know why that's so offensive to someone or why its lowballing.

And we're all biased one way or another.

So Earth-based Astronomers can observe heavenly bodies in another dimension now?

Nope. Odin returned to his normal power level. The Infinity amp was gone.

How's that diminish Odin's role in the scene?

It was in the mainstream universe. But the bio is off on that part.

Ok, Abhi is a complete idiot, then. Better? 😛

Sure, but there are levels of bias. And yours is, well.....

Anyway, i didn't mean to insult you. And what i said is not exactly a secret at this point.

@Operator

It pierced the space-time veil so it could be viewed on earth if you wonder how it was viewed on earth.

No it wasn't. See Epicurus' response. And these scans:

Really? Because you posted the index where it was stated that Odin reabsorbed his stolen power.

"Drives Infinity off reclaims his power."

How's that diminish Odin's role in the scene?
Because it was the power of infinity that did the destruction and then Odin absorbed its power to undo the damage.

It was in the mainstream universe. But the bio is off on that part.
There are some serious inconsistency then. Because Odin did go to World beyond.

Ok, Abhi is a complete idiot, then. Better? 😛

Nothing compared to true masters. You would never catch me saying Superman beats someone like Odin or even Kurse.

Anyway, i didn't mean to insult you. And what i said is not exactly a secret at this point.
It sounded like an insult, but I forgive you.

"Drives Infinity off reclaims his power."

Yes, it says that he reclaims his power, not his power along with Infinity's. It would have been specified if otherwise. And back then, it wasn't known that it was an amp, so the writer's intention was to have Odin restore it all by himself. And even going by the Quasar revelation, im sure it was meant to be isolated in that one story.

Infinity didn't do all the destruction. The battle between Odin/Infinity crumbled galaxies. That's some major destruction.

As for the absorbing part, i already explained it above.

But as we know now, it wasn't his power. The retcon makes it clear that Odin was tapping into Infinity's power to create Infinity II. But Odin absorbed the power of infinity and restored the damage. Can you please post the conclusion of the fight and the restoration of universe because I don't have the comic with me right now.

Yeah, it is. But IMO Infinity did the bulk of it.

Not convincing bro.

Odin drived Infinity off, and reclaimed the part of his self. The Infinity part was gone. Otherwise, such an important detail would have been mentioned. And what you're suggesting is that Odin got a permanent power up; do you believe that? Because i sure don't.

Oh, okay.

Some of you need to stop the bashing and flaming. I really don't care who ranks RKT where. If you can't be civil, leave the thread or use the ignore function. The fact that I have to repeat the same thing to a few people every week makes me think banning is the solution.
