Deadpool's ridiculously high level of financial success to budget ratio gave the studio its balls.
I'm surprised that the budget was still very high with the R rating. But the film doesn't look very high-budget.
$127 million? Goddamn..

Jackman reportedly had to take a pay cut as well in order to get the R rating.
But then again, "The Wolverine" was made for only 120 million.

A bit more than double Deadpool's. I thought it was lower.

Yeah, Marvel has a lot of gall making it a high-budget R rated film. They're cocky.I don't give a shit about this movie, but it will still no doubt make bank.
I don't know about cocky but more..I thought they were all about the dollars. They'd make vastly more money off this if it's a PG-13.
Deadpool wasn't that popular a character with the mainstream audiences, Wolverine on the other hand..I've seen young teens dressing up as him for Halloween and shit.
But hey good for them for putting story and content above money. *Having flashbacks to Alien vs Predator being made PG-13*

I dunno.. "Cocky" has kind of worked twice for them now. GOTG and Deadpool were both "Cocky" moves that paid off for them.
Now to say COCKY a few more times.
COCKY
COCKY
COCKY
COCKY!!!!!!!
