There is no way he was holding back.

This is a prime example of why I don't debate anymore.

Drama, what would have happened if Broly ripped apart the main characters of the Dragon Ball Series? Movie's over everyone, everyone died, the end. It just wasn't going to happen.

How did I ignore it? I directly addressed why it's not a valid comparison.

Agree to what, I never put a proposition out for you to agree to. I just pointed out that he stopped because he couldn't kill the main characters. You're main argument is "WELL IF BROLY IS SO POWERFUL, WHY DIDN'T HE WIPE OUT THE CAST OF DRAGON BALL Z? HUH?!" You see the flaw I'm sure? It's the same reason that Cell Jr's, which were more or less equals to ascended super saiyans, were able to strike Yamcha without tearing his body parts off. They weren't exactly considerate of life.

So? Will you continue to ignore the purpose of the thread? Because Gohan isn't stomping anyone, and you've helped prove that just fine.

As for this thread I guess it kinda depends where you'd place Bojack compared to Broly? Since he's the only other foe that faced SS2 Teen Gohan besides Cell.

Like he seemed to be thrashing everyone up until Gohan went SS2 and then he was like no match what so ever. The first Broly movie I'd say was before they faced Cell, Bojack I'd say takes place after Cell seeing as how Goku has passed and Gohan can achieve SS2, this begs the question how does Bojack compare to Super Perfect Cell, you'd think Gohan would be stronger by the time the Bojack film but maybe it's just cause the costumes in Bojack are sick (Seriously I still wait for a game to let me have Teen Gohan in Goku's outfit and Trunks in that sweet vest) haha but that aside Cell put up a fight against SS2 Gohan so idk, Vegeta while sick as **** seemed to get beat down by both, Bojack wasn't even in his super form yet. Broly second coming takes place before Goku returns for the Tournament (Which is when Vegeta tells him Gohan is weaker than he was during the cell games I believe) so Gohan is a weaker SS2 facing Broly who honestly manhandles him if memory serves (Another thing real fast...WHAT THE HELL... BROLY..the legendary SUPER SAIYAN...fighting GOHAN... and do VEGETA or PICCOLO show up? Nah : |...Krillen does though : |||||||.........WHAT?! Like that's the one special DBM did I loved lol.) but this Gohan is stronger but Broly technically should be too........Weaker Gohan DID fight Dabura though but I think Dabura was greater than Perfect Cell, but not Super Perfect Cell..which would mean..

Yea young gohan was awesome in that movie...and i think it was stated im not sure i havent watched it in a while that bojack was as strong as cell.

Toriyama has stated before that he wanted gohan to be the main character after goku had died. He wanted gohan to take up his fathers mantle as the protecter of earth. He was getting tired of the idea that goku had to be the one to kill everybody. The editors wouldnt allow him to go that direction though they wanted goku to return. Toriyama wasnt allowed to do what he wanted with the series which is why some would say the buu saga isnt as good as others.

Yeah trying to power scale canon and non-canon events can be draining. Sometimes I wish the Broly movies never happened so I didn't get a headache thinking about its contradictions.

All of Dragon Ball is a contradiction. If you sit back and laugh at it without taking it to serious its very cool. Broly is just another one of the many stories to add to the legacy. They prolly don't have time to sit around comparing power levels all day like we do. If they did nothing would be produced.

Dbz is litterally one of the most inconsistant manga/anime out there its writing is sub par compared to other manga.

Yea he was way more powerful, it took to much time from Gohan to decide to kick his ass. Watching his friends suffer, watching his father die, then his father having to talk to him from the after life and talk him through the whole fight before and after he died. He lacked the willpower on his own. IIRC correctly Goku had just come off of being sick with heart disease and and just didn't have what it took to get it done. Broly ferocious fighting spirit, he would not have problems wrapping that fight up a few times over.

Classic Quanchi approach. Gohan's mental state and little ***** attitude will not impact his strength. With only one arm he stated that his Kamehameha would only be half power and it was on par with super perfect cell's "solar" (as some call it) Kamehameha. I'm assuming Vegeta won't be around to **** things up so Gohan will just Kamehameha Broly away.

Look like you're hatred runs deep for Quan. Get back to me when you watch the fight again and then re watch Broly fighting. Considering you deny Broly being the LSSJ when its magna, I can understand you're freak out bias..

Gohan simply lacked with mindset against Cell. The fact he was able to match and exceed his energy projection, means mindset is irrelevant to how powerful he is

Yea its so wrong to debate the character on how they actually fight rather then imagine then as who they are and are not.. What hypocrisy this is.

Cell dicked around with Gohan and thats why he lost, Broly just fights because he wants too.
