Johnny Cage should not be defeating Shinnok imo. And Kabal shouldn't be doing better against Raiden than Quan Chi either. Ed Boon, you got some splainin' to do

lol I was thinking it might have something to do with the nature of JCages abilities. We did see he tanked that blast meant to kill Sonya and took no damage.

You do know power levels were all over the place in MK9 right?

Even in the original timeline Cage sent Shinnok packing, according to his Armageddon bio anyway.

Can we use spoiler tags or something? Because I don't really want to know anymore about the in-game story till I play it...

Yes, but there's also context and story to take into account. Shinnok is notably weaker when he does not have his amulet, which he didn't when he fought Johnny, and it's implied Johnny is potentially extremely powerful.

Just to think, Predator was in a Capcom beat'em up a long time ago...and now he's in a Mortal Kombat game. First time I'll see a character used by two of these rival companies.

So umm, just how much have Shinnok and Quan Chi manipulated Raiden and a lot of other people through both timelines?
