Haven't played the game much since the latest patches, but I noticed a couple of my favorite long Mileena combos I can no longer do. =( Wonder who else got nerfed.
The trailers for the KP2 seem to keep getting marked as private (I guess to avoid copyright for the moment), but it's been leaked.

Leatherface? Copout, but not too surprising, Baraka was expected, Xenomorph I'm curious to see how they do, Bo Rai Cho I'm excited for, and the cyborg trio in one character slot, eh... Figures they wouldn't be unique enough for three variations each. I never got all the fuss about Cyber Smoke, who was not unique at all in the 2D era, especially after all the flak Cyber Sub-Zero got.
R.I.P. everyone else I wanted. At least there's no Sindel.
Overall, still a better KP than I thought, but at the same time I kinda still have the "too many guest characters, not enough other MK characters" complaint.
Eh. Was never a Baraka type and Tri-Borg sounds meh. Will definitely consider buying Bo Rai Cho and the Alien though. Not sure yet on Leatherface. I'm surprised he's even in the game. All these guest characters from monster flicks make me wish NetherRealm would just make a horror crossover fighting game already if they can get these guys.

Triborg sounds sweet.
In the trailer the xeno comes out from Baraka's chest.
At the end it is shown that the Alien is half tarkatan. Its like a regular xeno with blade arms
The only one I have no issue with is the Triborg concept. Bo Rai Cho? I never did care for him that much. Considering how disliked he is, I can't believe Boon actually went with him over some other post trilogy characters. Like Fujin. He's been shafted so many times. Only been playable in one game that wasn't Armageddon. With this game's variation system, there were so many cool and interesting things that could have been done with wind. Such wasted potential.
As for the two guests, I'm not against guest characters, but I just think more than two is overkill. There are still plenty of fan favorites missing and they got shafted in favor of more guests. At this point NRS should just go ahead and do a horror themed fighting game. It seems some people would rather have that than MK.
Psh. Yeah, let's have a horror crossover fighter, with obligatory Scorpion as a guest character.
That reminds me, did no one know about Johnny Cage being in WWE Immortals? The trailer for it was pretty sweet.
And yeah, not sure how to feel yet about the Alien-Tarkatan thing. As for Bo Rai Cho, he's pretty liked along with being fairly disliked. You either love him or hate him.

It wouldn't surprise me if Leatherface was included to promote the new movie that's coming next year. Hell, I'm starting to think that having more guests is to begin with is mainly WB's doing since Jason and Predator were the highest selling in KP1. Bo Rai Cho however was clearly an Ed Boon choice. So Boon got his pick, one pick for the fans and the rest being up to WB.
And as for bringing back Freddy because Wes Craven passed away, apparently Boon stated that no character would ever be DLC twice.
