This new system effectively eliminates input lag, assuming you have a decent connection. For why it's important, it means that now there is no risk of dropping your combos or missing a move/block because of sheer lag, unlike traditional fighting game multiplayer.

I know that not not everyone here cares about online, but this kinda has me stoked. Anything that can improve the online experience, of a fighting game no less, is extremely necessary. You can sign up for the closed beta to test this new online on the 19th. Prolly won't be doing it myself, but nice service nonetheless.

That's supposed to be the pit which isnt out yet.

We only have stage brutalities so far.

Kinda have mixed feelings about the Queen fatality the new gameplay is cool liking the acid moves also glad Cyrax has his net.

I'll wait until it's 20, then probably get it. Saves me having to buy all of that dlc.

Triborg does nothing for me, and I'm still kind of iffy about the Xeno.

Im not a fan of Sektor I like Cyrax and Smoke looks cool so im happy with him.

Could be a new skin tons of new ones in that vid.

Some costumes for the dlc characters would have been nice....

I'm on Takeda's chapter atm in the story mode; just had my ass handed to me by Ermac, so looking forward to trying again later lol

Who is your fave character from the new ones?

I'm not a huge fan of Kung Jin; his fighting style doesn't seem as fluid to me as I would like. I like Takeda more. Haven't tried Jacqui or Cassie too much yet, so can't comment on them.

Kotal is all right.

I like D'Vorah, but I've found that I only really have success with her when I play aggressively, and that's not my usual playstyle. Her fatality during story mode was sick, though.

Erron and FerraTor I haven't played much of at all.

Probably Takeda from a gameplay standpoint.

Erron is great try his variation with the tarkatan sword.
Ferra/Tor is meh he is slow I dont like his playstyle at all.

Jacqui and Cassie are both pretty good.

Shinnok is ok.

Kotal can be a beast in blood god but his moveset is kinda.meh.

I haven't tried Shinnok yet. I never played MK4, so he's not a character I've seen a lot in the games.

I will admit, I have enjoyed Cage, Sonya is all right. Liu Kang with his fireball/flying kick mode is nice. Goro is brutally tough. Sub Zero isn't bad.

The lameness of that and Jacqui & Cassie cosplaying as Scorpion & Sub-Zero aside, glad to see much more skins for the newer characters, especially Erron Black's. Ermac's getting a steel skin in the vein of Scorpion and Sub-Zero, it seems; safe to assume Reptile will as well.

On a much less fortunate note, seems the PC port will no longer be supported.

With that and the fact enhanced online wasn't shown to be on PC, the PC version is more than likely abandoned. Very unfortunate.

I think WB's mostly to blame, considering the PC port of Arkham Knight and whatnot in addition to MKX. But yeah, it's still horseshit regardless.

Just finished campaign. Very satisfying to beat Shinnok, and the ending scenes hint at the future, which I like. I enjoyed most of the story, tbh.

I just hope that we're not going to see less and less of the classic characters when the next game comes out.
