Honestly why do you listen to that liar? Clearly he's a liar. This is him during one of his "raids"

👆Sick video. I have a soft spot for hunters, since it was my first serious class. I had no idea pets could be that OP though lol. I guess it was just a matter of giving it a try.
Also: YouTube video you deserve a medal.
LOL. I had forgotten about that. One of the perks afforded by co-hosting our all-hunter events was being able to plan sh*t like that video. Usually we'd kill world bosses, raid cities, or just bum-rush PvP arenas and laugh at mystified onlookers.
And yes, the pet tanking stuff was largely just because I decided to give it a serious try. No one else was really doing it when I started to record heroic instances and such. In subsequent expansions, others joined in and I became another face in the crowd. But when I first posted that Sindy video, there were numerous accusations of video doctoring and/or it being on a private server with special rules. It was enlightening, because it was coming from within the hunter community...no one actually knew what they were capable of.

As a fellow tank, I salute you.Not the most popular class, but holy shit do people appreciate a good tank.
In the days before LFG, tanks were like finding gold. Once my guildies trusted me to pet tank heroics in Wrath, I'd get requests as soon as I logged on. It was awesome.

Nice.
In FF, I constantly get the "x number of parties need a tank" message.
And of course, when I queue for any group content, I rarely have to wait that long at all.
It's the same in SWTOR, where my main is also a tank.
Funny how it's actually my preferred class too.
Brett is the name. I'm in my mid 50's (ok I'm at the point we already call it late 50's)

Now, if you're not a WoW guy, what I was doing was outside the norm. My class was intended as a pure dps class. And I was good at it. So it was never quite my primary or only focus. But yeah, tanking can be a blast.

I browse Comic VS often, but rarely post(because i have very limited comic knowledge), but I've been on KMC for about a decade now, and certainly enjoyed seeing Guy's kind posts. Most of my posts come from the Star Wars forums here(much more my area of expertise).
It's been really great seeing people share a bit about themselves, so I will too.
My name is Destry. I am 26 and living in Missouri. I love comics, but have only read a few different comic arcs(Blackest Night, CoIE, Identity Crisis, House of M, etc.) as I didn't really discover the hobby until my late teens, and by then I already had hobbies that I'm quite content with(video games, music, reading books) and just haven't worked in much more room for comics, besides reading what more knowledgeable people post here on KMC.
Favorite comic characters: Dr Strange and Dr Fate.
Keep up the great threads, guys! Much appreciated by someone like me.
