Yes, I know. He picks and chooses when to listen to kings. I referred to a moment he left mid battle because he had a breakdown. He chose to stand against his bully brother then after he burned his nasty face all up. Yes, he is a coward who won't openly defy the king when he can't flee.

The battle ended with no victor. He opposed the mountain. By your own logic the viper didn't lose because he wasn't trying to kill the mountain yet.

I already cited facts. Losing a joust, beheading a horse, and the hound jumping in when he wasn't at his best isn't impressive. What the viper did to the mountain was impressive. He did so while showboating as well.
