riddick wheres the goggles due to his advanced optical vision, he wears the goggles in normal and high intensity lighting to prevent any temperary blindness or permant vision damage. he doesnt need them in the dark due to the fact he CAN SEE IN THE DARK and KHAN CAN'T

No, I did due to the goggles which shows his vision only excels at night but is a huge liability in a well lit area.
