Caiera versus Darth Maul

Caiera from Planet Hulk versus Darth Maul. Maul has his dual bladed saber, and to make it fair, Caiera has an identical one. Fight takes place on Tatooine.

Maul cannot use the force as an offensive weapon, but he is free to use it any other way he sees fit. Who wins?

Caiera wins easily.

I dunno if she does. I mean she has a huge advantage in strength, but Maul has the edge in speed, plus precog. Good fight though.

Old Power gives her a considerable edge. Strength, durability on par with the Hulk not to mention the energy manip which outclasses anything that Maul(or any Sith/Jedi based on movies strictly speaking) has under his belt.

Maul.

Can a saber cut through her?

^If her old power forcefields are active(which is usually always the case when she's engaging in combat), probably not.

The Old Power is more versatile and powerful than the Force based on on-panel feats vs screen feats.

Did Caiera use any of those other old power uses in the film though? I don't remember

^To an extent, yes. She was the Red King's secret weapon used for keeping the slave-gladiators under control.

She also fought evenly with Hulk after the fight in which he nearly kills Beta Ray Bill. BRB was portrayed being on par with his comicbook version in that film from what I remember, so that's a pretty uber feat for the Hulk. And Caiera held her own against him.

Edit: I forgot that this was the movie version of Caiera. In which case, she still wins this fight, but it's a closer draw now.

No, she didn't. I have seen PH many times and she didn't. This is a straight up fight, no "powers" to be used offensively.

Then Maul is pretty much f*cked. Even without the Old Power Caiera is definitely a low class 100, based on movie feats alone. And she's one of Sakaar's best trained warriors no less.

Just blocking a hit or a glancing blow will pulp his bones if Caiera doesn't hold back.

And what is to keep Maul from dodging (via precog) and slicing her?

Yes, she is far stronger, but he is faster and has precog.

I'm not saying he can't dodge, but we see that pre-cog isn't perfect. And with her Old Power his saber may not even cut her. We already know several metals a saber blade can't cut through without a lot of time and force. Some a saber can't cut through at all.

She could take a hit that would only mildly inconvenience her, and send Maul flying with broken...everything.

Lol...in the movie she tanked a Nuke that destroyed the infected village. This isn't a fight, at all.

I don't see Maul repelling those attacks.

Here is some info on what Old Power grants her

Powers
Old Power: Caiera could willfully channel an energy force native to the planet Sakarr itself for the purpose of increasing some of her natural attributes to superhuman levels.

Superhuman Strength: Caiera could channel the Old Power through her body for the purpose of granting herself superhuman strength of undefined limits. While the upper limit of her strength wasn't revealed, she could lift somewhere between 75 and 100 tons.

Superhuman Stamina: While using the Old Power, Caiera's musculature was considerably advanced to the point where it produced considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a human being. While the limits of her stamina weren't revealed, she could physically exert herself at peak capacity for at least several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in her blood began to impair her.
Superhuman Durability: The Old Power rendered Caiera's body highly resistant to most forms of physical injury. She could withstand powerful blows from the Hulk, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, falls from great heights, and powerful blasts of energy without sustaining injury.

"Old power", is that quoted in Planet Hulk?

It doesn't need to be even though I believe it's explained. That's what her powers are, and since Planet Hulk the movie is based off Planet Hulk the comic arc, she's got her Old Power just like Hiroim does.

No, it is not mentioned, it is never even touched on, therefore it does not exist. Screen feats/facts only.

She is beyond superhuman level. She is Hulk's level. It doesn't matter if its not said thats where her power comes from, its an explanation of why she is powerful and not just cannon fodder like her friends.
