Magneto could just blood-bend him and pull out all the iron in his blood, so he couldn't move, and would die almost instantly. Even if he couldn't though, he can still move things faster than Voldemort could attack, being able to shoot bullets from his hand as fast as from a gun, and even stop them out of their guns. He pulls a car door to him and blocks any spells that no-nose whips out, and pulls a screw off of it, to shoot through his dome.

But seriously, Snape knew the spell was coming as Harry was crying/screaming like a little girl before he cast it, Potter basically warned Snape before he attacked. If he can find the clip and posts it again, you'll see.

Actually movie Magneto has done the pulling iron out of blood trick, but it was only after the guard was injected with extra iron by Mystique...so he obviously only saw the youtube vid, which explains why he didn't know the context.
