We're getting THIS on the big screen. So excited.

"T-The H-Hulk has come to Asgard!!! RUNNNN!!!"

Looks like we're getting something closer to the Planet Hulk animated film.

But they're replacing the role of Beta Ray Bill (who replaced SS from the comic) with Thor.

Back when it was first announced that Thor 3 would be titled Thor: Ragnarok, fans became interested as to how closely it would follow the comic stories that it could be based on. Then, when it was revealed that the movie would be a team up between Thor and Hulk, speculation began to point towards the film having an influence from the Planet Hulk storyline in the comics. This idea became even more clear when Hulk’s gladiator armor was shown at San Diego Comic-Con, but that has not been the only information pointing towards the idea of the story being implemented.

Director Taika Waititi has already teased the appearance of Korg and confirmed that of Meik, both of whom have roles in the storyline. Now, he has confirmed the largest connection yet by revealing that the war planet of Sakaar will be featured as well. -snip

Not sure we could call that Hulk "mindless" as it refers to the comic, but he seemed more enraged than we've seen him before due to Wanda's mental tampering. And as we know, angrier Hulk = more powerful Hulk.

Yeah so effectively amped.

hype kind of dying

Watch the Planet Hulk animated film; it's good and then think of elements of that/Planet Hulk story-line being used in Thor 3 to build your hype.

No it wasn't stated. We just witnessed it happening Lol. Bannerless Hulk just went completely nuts and was out for the kill. No Banner holding him back at all. So of course he had a massive brutality advantage over regular Hulk.

Just give it up Stilt.

No amp was stated because he wasn't amped. In your bias you're making a claim you can't prove. You do this all the time in favor of Thor due to your inherent bias which creeps up into my threads.

Doctor Strange confirmed to appear in the movie, Not that it actually needed to be confirmed.

I know, right? I can't wait to see the tremendous Jeff Goldblum as Grand Master.

The films still 11 months away. But yeah a teaser would be nice.

No it does not.... 😄 😛

could be shown during the superbowl

Will the movie be a any good this time?

Well it has Taika Waititi directing it, It'll be his first action movie

he had a hit last year with Hunt for the Wilderpeople.

Okay... but it still Disney running the show. After a number of movies like Ant-Man or Suicide Squad where renowned directors don't really get to do their things (resp. Edgar Wright who left the Ant-Man project and David Ayer who didn't get to edit the movie he wanted)... the name of a good director without final cut doesn't really mean a whole lot to me anymore.

Fair enough

also i'm pretty sure James Gunn has some sort of final cut over doing the Gotg movies, He wrote the scripts & direct them.

I think he does, but manly because GOTG1 was a relatively small movie, nobody expected much from. I wonder if they felt that way with GOTG 2, now that it's become a money maker.

Good

I want a good dose of Surtur

Well it seems Hela's the one causing Ragnarok, Unless of course they're keeping Surtur a big secret

and Thor might be Unworthy, Hasn't got his hammer
