it could be a swerve and she is Hulk's wife

It'll be sad for that that the Jane Foster romance is over but yah, hopefully we'll get away from Darcy and crew as well.

Same.
Although im glad Portman is out. Jane,Darcy and pals were always messing up the glorious Asgard Thor space adventures stuff.

Thor should have been been having god sex with Sif anyhow.

👆 As long as they don't just replaced Portman and her pals with even more annoying unnecessary characters. And yeah, you're right, there should be some spectacular Asgard porn. I hate the fu#king MPAA.

Also I dont know why this new female that they cast is rumored to be a new love interest.
Sif have been waiting on the sidelines for the longest for some Thor hammering.

That's what I don't understand with everybody praising Kenneth B for his directing skills. He's the one that introduced Darcy & crew for the comic relief.

Thor is the last franchise I'd expect needing comic relief.

Kenneth B did a wonderful job with Thor1 IMO. Massively better than whatever his name was who did TDW.

Darcy and crew got annoying in TDW Imo.

Now that Thor is acclimated to earth, marvel can do movies in other realms. As far as comic relief, Fandral and Volstagg of the Warriors three are sufficient.

I liked the Thor movies. The problem I had with TDW was:

1)Too much humor; especially Darcy and crew
2) Malekith wasn't allowed to be fleshed out or given more personality.
3) They should have had Thor find a way to defeat Malekith without THE HUMANS....FFS. There is no great payoff with the way he ultimately defeats Malekith. Had the humans not been involved it would have been better.
4) No more Loki please. I love Tom Hiddleston as much as the next Marvel fan but can THOR be the star of his own movies please? It would allow for more backstory and character development for Thor; as well as allow room for different villains. Thor has a pretty awesome Rogues gallery.

That being said I actually really enjoyed TDW. Probably a 7.5/10 for me.

Yeah...Malekith needed to be almost like the Joker.

Pretty much just like the joker only a magical elf. He seems to be more like Carnage in a way as well. Pretty much just killing everything

Well, here's hoping we get an incredible villain in Ragnarok. What if they give us Mangog and Thor and Hulk have to team up to take him on! That would be pretty epic.

Well, i am not positive but there is going to be at least 3 vilkians I'm guessing? Loki and Enchantress at first and then a big bad somewhere at the end where the two villians and heroes team up to beat them.

Marvel really needs to work on its villians. So far, Loki is the only one they did any justice whatsoever. Ultron was horrible, Malekith was literally the exact opposite of what he is supposed to be, and Kurse was a suit which made him amd the scenes in general with him, very lackluster and boring.

Ultron wasn't horrible. He wasn't exactly what I wanted him to be but he was definitely not horrible. MCU villain hate is WAY overplayed btw.

Iron Man 1- Obadiah Stane was pretty solid. Jeff Bridges was often cited as one of the highlights of the movie

Iron Man 2 - Okay, Whiplash and "MC" Hammer were terrible....

Iron Man 3- While I didn't mind the comic twist on Mandarin, Killian wasn't good I'll give you that

Thor 1- Loki was excellent.

Thor 2 - Malekith wasn't great but Kurse was pretty cool; if fleeting.

Captain America 1 - Red Skull was great. Hugo Weaving did a great job bringing the Nazi A-hole to life.....though it sucks they got rid of him.

Captain America 2- Winter Soldier as the antagonist was amazing. Also, Robert Redford did a hell of a job as Alexander Pierce.

The Incredible Hulk - Thunderbolt Ross played by William Hurt was solid; and Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) was pretty good until he turned into Abomination.

Avengers 1- Loki again shined; but that's not surprising as Hiddleston is amazing.

Avengers 2- Again, Ultron was pretty good, certainly one of the better Marvel villains imo. He wasn't great, but I'd say he was good enough.

Guardians of the Galaxy - I actually liked Ronan, I just felt he was wasted by them killing him off at the end. Also, he didn't get quite enough screen time. But I like Lee Pace's take on the character. He was a badass and one can't blame him for succumbing to Chris Pratt's pelvic sorcery.

Ant-Man - Yah, okay, I couldn't stand Yellowjacket. The epitome of a throwaway villain from the MCU. The only real stain on an otherwise great movie.

Meant to specify Thor villians and hence Avenger villians. Read your thoughts and have to agree with majority of this and actually looking at them in a list like that puts it in a different perspective as well, keep forgetting how many movies deep the mcu is already.

Ultrons persona and character were ok as he is just an emo robot in comics as well. I just thought the majority of action scenes, his different fights and he just never felt threatening to anybody even one on one. The best thing he did was punch Thor a few times and that was alleviated immediately by Thor basically say he was just playin around for vision to hit him.

Kurse should have been cgi like hulk. The character was a stone cold bad ass that knew what he was doing but he could have been way better and bigger with cgi

Mandarin was completely retarded. So was im2

Ronan's design was the best. He looked like a badass amd felt like a legitimate threat to guardians.

Agree with rest though.

Yah, I get it. People started talking trash about Marvel's villains so it became popular to just parrot that statement; when in fact they have been okay. I think it just is exemplified because the MCU HEROES have almost all been home run/grand slams. So when the villains are solid doubles or triples (a few strike outs) people over-exaggerate how "bad" they are.

If we get Mangog for Thor 3, I hope they use his design on the Thor God of Thunder Video Game. That Mangog was like Mangog+Destroyer armor in design.

Not gonna lie, a little concerned with the storyline since they are basically trying to jam planet hulk in as well. Only thing I can say is, if they are planning on making one big Thor and Hulk bashfest then they might as well go all out, at least give us a couple of REAL good fights between the two.

And if they go thebother route, I hope they at least make Ragnarok mean something and not just a movie title.
