I believe that's what the OP meant when it specifically named 'FvJ Freddy', as that Freddy was doing kick-flips and tanking hits from Jason that would turn normal men, let alone skinny runts like Freddy to mush.

FvsJ is underrated IMO. Wasn't scary per se, but definitely delivered on the match up slasher fans like myself wanted to see. Twas all good except that Jason aquaphobia shit. that was lame.

I liked it better than any NoES flick, but it was still silly nonsense aside from the nostalgia of seeing two horror icons I grew up with battle it out.

Same thing with me too. Thing is when it came out, me and my older bro were HUGE slasher fans. We had profiles, lists of their entire killcount, etc. so we were really hyped for the film, and (I think I said this before) when the rock music for the final battle started playing, I ran to the front of the theater. IMO FvsJ delivered on the one thing it needed to, which was FvsJ.

I wouldn't rank it as the best Freddy flick though. IMO that would either go to the original or New Nightmare.

Batman's armor should atleast withstand most of his offensive attacks. Not to mention he is much faster than Freddy is.

If this is overkill - exclude the hax stuff (PIS/CIS excluded). Freddy was beefed up in FvJ. You can exclude his durability feats, but he still has the same combat prowess.

if freddy fights batman in the real world he will ulitmately lose if bane plays his fair share, micheal on the other hand. i cant remember if his powers were ever really explained except for the Cult of Thorn. but basically team batman wins

Yah, as I kid I had an extreme love of horror/slasher flicks, but I only really liked the first NoES.
