So, how does the book end? Do they meet Sidious?

Not "group of pirates > Dooku" pitiful, but still pretty nonsensical :hmm

So, the book ends with Dooku on the ground captured. Kenobi says he will take him in chains to the Council. Then suddenly, you turn the page, and "Vos had held Ventress in his arms afterward. How long, he did not know, but at some point he heard blasterfire and Obi-Wan Kenobi shouting his name—calling for help. Vos had gone, and the three Jedi fought together as, yet again, Dooku eluded capture. Darth Sidious, whose identity Vos had sacrified so much to learn, had apparently decided to aid his apprentice after all."

That's the most shit writing in human history.

Is Ventress dead? The **** happened?

She was

killed by Dooku's Force Lightning. She jumped in the way of it to save Quinlan.

I think I underestimated how bad of a writer she is. Granted, I haven't read the book in its entirety, but that last part was God-awful.

Is it really only her to blame?

If the quote on the novels wookiepedia page is legit, Lucas and Filoni were part of writing the original script this adapts :maybe

She followed the outline for the story, basically. She could have written certain sequences much better. But again, I don't even have the book, so the majority of the novel could be decent.

I liked the parts where Vos choke slammed Ventress, kicked Dooku's ass and embarrassed Grievous lol.

Not saying she's not shit

Just saying an already bad writer can hardly turn what's already shit in concept into anything else :maybe

Vos cradling a dead Ventress as Dooku escapes sounds like something I could see Lucas thinking up and all :hmm

He seriously destroyed her in their duel after she came to rescue him on Serenno.

What kind of ending was that? Christie Golden needs to be exiled for her sacrilege.
