But I wasn't referring to him.

mmm

I've got version C, personally signed by Drew Karpyshyn himself, though he did it after being date raped using rohypnol so don't bother asking, he won't remember it.

The only mention of Bane in mine is that he dies 😮‍💨

That opening crawl about Bane dying and Zannah tripping over shit was hilarious.

He did defeat Dooku in a fair fight, he tricked Grievous, and he dominated a heartbroken Ventress while bloodlusted.
So this guy beat Dooku.

😂

Even yoda failed to defeat him in their skirmish in AoTC.

That's not failing to defeat him as much as having priorities, but k.

My point is Yoda is vastly overrated.

I don't remember Dooku or Vos instantly freezing Ventress. So no, Yoda isn't overrated.

By the way this novel confirms Force Enhanced Strength in the new canon (In Combat), something you've always denied. I'm only half way through but I'm sure by the end it will also confirm Force enhanced speed.

That was in the first episode and she progressed through further training and greater experiences. Do you feel she didn't ?

I never disputed force enhanced strength I disputed force enhanced durability. There is force enhanced speed ala sprinting in phantom menace but they can't fight at that speed. Don't butcher my arguments in the future.

Ahsoka wasn't injured by a grenade exploding a few feet away from her in the first season of TCW. Darth Maul survived being cut in half and falling down the reactor pit. Yoda survived falling to almost the bottom of the senate chamber when flung off by Sidious. Maul and Savage weren't injured by Sidious flinging them into the walls hard enough to crack stone. Obi-Wan wasn't noticeably injured by Grievous's punches, who has dented his star fighter and torn droidekas in half.

I'm not seeing how force enhanced durability wasn't already a thing in both Star Wars continuities tbh.

I'm also pretty sure Lords of the Sith has Vader and Sheev fighting with enhanced speed.

Being cut in half and surviving has to do with survivability not durability. We also don't know what he hit at the bottom. Yoda fell a great distance but nothing about that screams uber durability. If anything force enhanced durability would have to be activated like a force push and wouldn't be automatic. That sort of thing happens all the time in fiction. This doesn't mean uber dirability it's just fictional characters doing superhuman shit. Things don't have to line up and make perfect sense as that kills cool action scenes. Lots of humans in fiction survive crazy things but that doesn't mean they have enhanced durability.

Not all of Grievous' punches are equal and he was obviously more durable than Obi. Obi hurt himself kicking him for crying out loud. Why didn't Obi amp his strength and durability since you claim he can do both.

Anakin jumping out of his speeder and landing on Zam Wessel's ship is also a great example.

Of what ?

Force enhanced durability. Falling a great height before landing on a speeder flying through the air at a great velocity without any injury is pretty impressive.

No, I don't think that's the case. Jedi jump great distances due to the force and I feel like this was just a coordinated feat not some kind of proof they have uber dirability. Things in the fictional world don't add up. We have examples of this but of just regular punches/kicks that wouldn't pack the force of a fall at this great a distance. Fiction doesn't have to add up and often doesn't make any sense.

Oh I've destroyed your arguments time and time again.

Good luck talking sense with Quanchi.

So, I just finished chapter eight and to be honest, I'm legitimately enjoying it. I like the characterization of Vos, and you can really hear Nika Futterman's voice in Ventress' dialogue.

You didn't address any of the points I made. It's ridiculous to say Ventress was just as good as she was in episode one of the clone wars series as to when this book takes place in the timeline.

How believable do you think their romance is?

I haven't gotten far enough where there is much romance - but Ventress' fondness of him so far is believable, IMO.
