Still Ventress's last acts seems to me turning to the light side, helping Kenobi later Ahsoka, Saving little girls etc.
Anakin had a blue blade because he didn't have enough time to change it IIRC, and I think Kun only kept his blue blades because he was trying to convince the fallen Jedi he was still a Jedi himself.
On that note though, Sylvar who was a Jedi used a red blade near the end of TotJ. So it's possible to switch it up.
Yeah that's right, when Adi Gallia owned Sing with the force, she was using red blade.
And Hett was using red blade too.
