I'm looking forward to both, if they ever happen.

I think Prometheus blows it out of the water, personally.

Loved this movie. One of the most enjoyable action movies I've seen in a long time. Really fun.

This guy

Both are dark sci-fi, but they differ greatly in styles and pacing. I have seen Prometheus many times and this only once so far, so it's difficult to say, but yes, I do love my dark outerspace sci-fi.

I was just very disappointed in Mad Max. Where Prometheus left off was quite the cliffhanger. I was just glad max max ended so I could leave. The villain in the mad max film despite an exotic look was a huge letdown as well.

What did you expect him to do, turn into a giant desert tarantula? I think you missed the point: he was nothing special, but he had all his powdery minions brainwashed into serving him so they would be rewarded in Valhala.

I get that he just had mental control over the weaker survivors in this bleak environment but again I would have went a different route. He was a nothing I agree. I wouldn't make my big bad villain just a nothing. That's my point.

You get it, he was like a cult leader. A Jim Jones of the apocalypse.

He wasn't supposed to be some super-powered villain, some people just miss the point even when it's thrown right in their faces.

Oh I got it I just didn't like it. The outlandish stunts also made the movie very unbelievable and to me I'd make the villain that way. Hey, you like a cult like villain. Not me in these kinds of films anyways with it being super action-y.

LoLz.

How should have the villain been then, examples?

The action in it was superhuman so please quit acting like its a stretch to have the exotic villain at least put up some kind of a fight.

I would have had more of a climactic fight with the guy who is relentlessly pursuing them the entire film.

Now he's an "exotic" villain. Lolz.

So you wanted more of a cookie-cutter film. Hero and Villain face-off at the end, hero wins. Roll credits.

I'm very glad Miller didn't cater to your crowd and decided to take the path he took while emulating RW/MM2 here and there. The movie being a massive hit shows he took the right path 👆

He is an exotic villain. Look at his look. He doesn't have a run if the mill look. I always said he had an exotic look. Read back am few posts.

I want more of a face off not all this buildup and the villain dies, easily. You don't want a struggle that's fine. I'm sure you loved Steven Seagal movies.

It isn't a massive hit. 😂

If the action was all CGI'd and unbelievable, then perhaps the villain should have pulled out some superhuman feats, but the movie was aiming for staying a bit more grounded. The stunts were crazy, but most of them were relatively believable because for the most part it felt like you were seeing something that actually appeared in front of the camera.

Yeah, cookie-cutter layout where the hero and villain face-off in the end. I'm glad Miller didn't cater to you CC types.

Yes it is 👆 Most people love it and it's made more than it cost and it's still making money. Wins all around.

Besides, you fell asleep and didn't watch it. Your opinion is void, quanchi112.

It's a hit but nowhere near a massive hit. I know words confuse you but think a little bit.

I do not want the villain to go down easily like he did. You're ok with that and I never would be. Especially considering he'd do whatever it takes to have him just die that quickly. I'm glad you admitted you loved the way the villain dies.

😂

LoL, once again all you're caring about is the $$$, how amateurish. The ratings and vibe, combined with the $$$ make it a massive hit. "It didn't make half a billion dollars so the movie isn't good!" So silly. Laughably so.

You fell asleep, of course reading about it doesn't make it very exciting. Go watch it again and this time stay awake, Van Winkle.

False. You said it was a massive hit. I just proved you wrong. I don't wish the movie to fail just because I didn't like it but you're wrong about it being a massive hit.

I'll help you out since words seem to be a constant struggle of yours. Massive hit; **** not. Critically acclaimed; yes. Can you see the difference ? I know words kind of upset and confuse you but come on man. How old are you ?

I did take a ten minute nap. The action and the car scenes aren't typically my thing. This was no exception. I wish I slept while the villain got it. That was such a letdown to see the villain just get axed despite being this relentless guy who survives all the way to this point. Oh well. You loved it. Just a dead villain without a fight. --Robbie approved.

Considering how good word-of-mouth is, it wouldn't surprise me if the box office ended up pretty good. It's held fairly well into the second week, and if it continues to stay steady, that helps out a lot. Good international take too.

It's certainly a critical success, and looks to be a solid financial success.

It was sold out the second week here.

This movie is simply amazing.

I was like gripping me seats the whole time, I have never seen such a intense movie where you didn't know what was going to happen next.
