Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

I just watched this again on my blu-ray with loud volume and darkness.

Unfu#kingbelievable this film. It is exquisite. You simply can't take your eyes off of it.

Still one of the best action movies I have ever seen. I wonder why it's taking so long for Miller to choose his next movie.

Very rarely do you have a movie with so many actors pulling off their roles, creating unique characters, and not feeling like anything is lacking with any of them. Also the best Mad Max film in terms of really fleshing out the identity of everyone around Max and not just Max himself.

Will be watching this again and again no doubt.

The "Black & Chrome" edition of this gets released today (in the US at least)...

I think it looks amazing in Black & White and might actually be the best version of the film...

...but since I've already bought it I don't think I'm going to shell out another $20 or so to get it again. I'll 'acquire' the B&W version somehow...

Might have to pick that up. Haha, hard to believe you could make the film any better. It will be missing some of the scope and power that things like the core of the dust storm brought, the pop of the flares, etc, but it will likely bring even more focus to certain interactions with the characters.

Bump.

Great movie.

Geez Stitlsy.. Gravedigging Much lately?

I never did see this for some reason... Really need to.

Wtf... treat yo'sef and watch on the best set-up possible ASAP.

An instant classic and frankly a fu#king masterpiece.

I've probably seen it at least 4 times.

^Fury Road is definitely an all time great action movie. Visually, it’s second to none, IMO.

Yes. Old Man gave us a Movie with True Balls... Something DisneyWood can NOT Give us.

I saw an interview with Miller (have no idea how old/recent it was...) where he was attached to another film project before he could focus back on the Mad Max franchise.

He wanted to film the next 2 back to back which obviously takes more planning & commitment from cast & crew.

The best movie of the 2010's, IMO, and one of the greatest action movies ever made. The level of filmmaking expertise by George Miller is somehow matched by the level of insane world building and over-the-top characters and moments.

I hadn't heard that he wants to film them back-to-back. That would be awesome. And yeah, knowing his ambition even ONE film is a monster undertaking. Damn.

This and Dredd that that spot.

Oh for a Mad Max/Dredd Crossover.

To Live IN That World!!!!!

The landscapes convey a sense of vastness like no other. I just love this one!

Yes. You really do 👆

I never gave a shit about Mad Max, either --- saw Fury Road last Friday and loved it.

Mad Max is campy as shit, has lots of Western aspects, but it's still good and worth the watch.

Mad Max 2 (aka The Road Warrior) is the best of the series, imo.

Max Max 3: Beyond thunderdome is meh. So much meh.

Thanks, Rob.

So Beyond Thunderdome is like The Phantom Menace of the series, huh?
