Six awards is rather impressive, kudos to Miller and the crews that made the film what it was.Definitely not a film someone should fall asleep in.

The Martian and Mad Max were nominated for a slew of oscars. That alone should tell you how absurd it is to use it as any kind of measuring stick.

My attention wasn't kept by Mad Max; it was a bit boring for me, tbh.

Mad max was phucking shite
How could the action in Fury Road ever be considered boring? What's better, the CGI fueled bore fests that make up the rest of today's modern action films/blockbusters?
I'll admit, Fury Road was definitely light on the story, but this film was a visual spectacle. There hasn't been anything like it in at least 25 years.
