I just got back from watching this. I liked it a lot. Entertaining action, most of the jokes were good (to me at least), and I liked the self-awareness and jabs at other films etc. I also felt everyone did a decent job, especially Reynolds as Deadpool. Colossus was also awesome. I'd definitely be on board for a sequel to this.

Was Colossus done well?

How much screentime does he have?

Colossus has more screen time than all of the X-men films he was in combined and then some.

Ok I know it's got an R-Rating which here is a MA (Mature Audience).

Is it a film I can take my 10 yr old son too?

I'm already coping slack saying it's inappropriate.

I honestly don't see any difference to the MA movies we already watch together at home.

3 examples would be The Purge (1&2). He enjoyed them more than I did.
Punished:WarZone. The WalkingDead series.

And I always make it a point to show him the behind the scenes features to make him understand the violence isn't real. Or acceptable in real life.

I honestly think also that any sexual innuendo in DP would simply go over his head.

Best superhero film by far...the character was not altered in any way...no punches were pulled... action wasn't lazily put together.

It all came together perfectly.

It's not only that. It's the fact that he was portrayed damn near perfectly. That's something Fox has rarely got right with its X-Men films. Colossus was horrible in the X-films but pretty damn perfect in Deadpool. How weird is that?

Besides the violence and cussing. There is an extended sex scene and some nudity.
