While I agree that 3D is generally annoying, I still think movies like Mad Max benefit from it.
Also its awesome to know that this movie is approaching Spiderman numbers. I hope this means that studios will stop relying on the "R-rated movies aren't profitable" rhetoric when given potential projects.

There was an article posted some time ago that pretty much said studios are now more open to dropping money into R-rated superhero films because of DP's huge not-flop success.
