He was knocked down and after Lucian was disarmed he was going down and the sunlight was already let in when Lucian pulled the rest of the ceiling away from the chains.
Despite Viktor being unable to move he still lived. He already proved skill worse to be Lucian's superior.

He got knocked into that. He disarmed Lucian and being as tactical as he is survived the encounter despite being wedged in. He also went back into power. Viktor also outlived the poor little furball.
