Wait...does this NY Post article change things?

The refer to the gateway pundit as their source but wasn't that suspect, to begin with?
Also, I would like to explain my position.
It does not matter what was happening in the situation: both sides of the "eye-witness" accounts say that Wilson fired at (even if he intended to miss) a fleeing (or casually walking away) Brown. As I stated, that does not seem like proper police protocol no matter how you slice up the story.
To me, that's a problem. It does not matter that Brown was a Thug or Wilson got the utter living shit beat out of him. If someone has a source that says cops fire guns in the general direction of suspects to "warn them" as part of regular protocol, I'll STFU up about it. However, I would note that cops are trained to NOT fire warning shots because of the bystander issue. You only pull out you gun to shoot if you plan to use lethal force.
But, yes, other than that, Brown is a thug and possibly a gangster. What should be focused on is whether or not Wilson handled the situation "within reasonable expectations." A jury can make that determination but I highly doubt a grand jury will indict Wilson.
