Huh, looks like Bioware decide to use the spare parts for the Collector design from mass effect on Revan's new concept art. If Revan starts talking about "being the harbinger of your destruction" or "assuming direct control" I'll be done with his character.

So the 12x exp is awesome. I've only played a handful of hours and I've already beat Act 1. That said its a bit more difficult than normal due to my shitty gear. Heck, I'm still using some green drops I got on Korriban.

New news. Revan's final battle can be completed in two different ways according to an interview at the NYC cantina. You can either complete it via SM/FP (they forget which one) OR you can complete it with a 8-man Operation group (obviously the Operation is larger and more complex then the SM). For the sake of full game completion, and the fact that the most canonical path seems to be every playable character will take part in Revan's demise, the Operation story is definitely the most canonical.

Answer: Both characters hate Revan because the Emperor has been killed, but not destroyed, and Revan wants to resurrect him to bring him back using his giant Doomsday device aka the Temple of Sacrifice . This starts the 3.0 storyline. The doomsday device can destroy the entire galaxy, and once the Emperor is back, everyone is ****ed. This is why both sides hate Revan and join forces to get rid of him. They are splitting the final encounter up like Dread Fortress and Dread Palace, with Revan being the final boss of the second Operation. Level 60 Operations are the equivalent to Top level 55 Operations. It is likely there will be a puzzle boss. There is a mechanic in the Revan fight where he pulls you into the Doomsday device and it's one-shot kill. The first Operation is called the "Ravager" (****ING DARTH NIHILUS' SHIP in which players have to invade to steal something from this group of people to infiltrate the Revanite ship. There will be 6 Flashpoints. 4 HM FPs are Tython, Korriban, Manaan & Rakata. The two new Flashpoints are brand new and one of them called "Bloodhunt" takes place on Rishi where you fight the Revanites. It ends in a giant arena where you fight numerous fighters, with the final boss being Shae Vizla. In the other one, you fight Revan if you don't like Operations (like I said before, non-canon). Kephess is also coming back. Darth Malgus' death is not confirmed (he won't be in the expansion though).

Yea, I gave up on TOR a long time ago. The writers have no consistency whatsoever. So Revan wants the Emperor dead for 300 years, and now he wants to resurrect him? Lol
