King was definately way out of line, but I love how Meliodas wasn't rattled in the least.

Attitude was kind of like "Kings just being King".

Yeah, I like that about Meliodas. He's pretty laid back for the most part.

Agreed. Wonder what his power level is now that he's got it all back. And on a similar note, just how will the others grow in power? As for King's lack of wings, I think it means that he's yet to fully develop his abilities. So when he obtains his wings, his power will likely increase to a level where he can go against the TC.

It must be pretty big since the TC have sensed it. I can't imagine them sitting still for this. Gilthunder's come up with a thunder shield and armor while it looks like Howzer's created a piercing technique with his wind.

He sure is.

That's certainly true. Which could only mean that they'll be on the move very soon, regardless of how much power they've recovered. And hopefully their power levels will change too, because new techniques or not, it won't do much good if they aren't powerful enough.

Damn, that was epic! Meliodas practically chewed Galan up and spat him back out! A complete reversal from what happened back in Camelot. If Merlin's teleportation lasted longer, Meliodas probably would've killed Galan. The way he bled out and him howling out at the end makes him even more Evangelion-like.

Despite that, Zeldris doesn't look discouraged in the slightest. I just wonder how Estarossa views Meliodas especially since he's the older brother of the two.

And what makes this even better/terrifying is that this is him still in his human form after getting his power back. And given the asskicking he just gave Galan, that would mean his current power level as a human is probably even higher than the 26,000 that Galan still has!

I'm willing to bet that those two are capable of putting up a better fight than Galan at any rate, regardless of how weakened they are still.

...And in hindsight, I just remembered something. Meliodas had access to his full power back when all of the sins were still together and had raided the vampires' palace. And even then, Merlin had stated that Escanor at his strongest has a power level higher than the other sins easily... so would Meliodas' demonstration of his full power (human form) in this chapter suggest that Escanor's highest power level is even much greater???

That's a scary thought. He's like Dark Schneider from Bastard!! in that while he is the "good guy", he's ruthless in combat and he's also a pervert although Meliodas saves it all for Elizabeth while Dark Schneider gropes any woman in his path. As for Escanor, we'll just have to wait and see.

I thought the bag head giant would be a monstruous brute but he talked intelligibly and reminded Galan that he isn't immune to his own curse. I didn't see that coming at all but it goes to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Estarossa mutating that bird was a complete "WTF?!?" moment. What sin did that bird commit?

Except for Estarossa, the Commandments are scattering all around Britannia. Derrierie and Monspiet easily pass off for humans since they really don't look different than them. Sure, Derrierie has that demon energy around her body but from a distance it just looks like provacative clothing. The tentacle girl and the bag head giant went where Diane's boulder crashed which has been made into a new arena. While they are obviously not human, this is a fantasy manga so they really don't stand out too much. The tentacle girl could be mistaken for a dragon while the bag head could pass off as one of Diane's race.

Huh? Hawk now has horns and a tail, Arthur has a cat on his head, and Griamor turned into a baby? This chapter was really bizarre!

I made something of a similar comparison too, though Meliodas is much more of a nice guy than DS ever was.

Which made for a nice surprise; it's good to see the old molds being broken, though we can't be sure how much until we see how he fights. And if I had to guess, that bird probably ticked him off just by existing...

True, though even then you'd think people would at least raise an eyebrow at the fact that her 'clothing' is definitely not made of actual material. And based on the looks of those guys at the merchant village, I'd say that even for NnT civilians, those two do stand out a lot.

Maybe crazy side effects of training in whatever the druids have going on?

Galan must be pretty psthetic by Ten Commandment standards if Meliodas messed him up that badly without even reaching his full strength.

Either that, or the Commandments are weakened themselves. They did ssy something about them only having half their strength, with their magic/energy needing time to regenerate.

The thing is, nobody said anything about him being in a weakened state, or ever standing a chance of winning in the future..

To be fair, Meliodas regaining his full power wasn't expected by them at all, even if they became aware of it the moment he got it back thanks to their power sensing abilities.

All of them are running on virtually 0 magical power, meaning their current power levels (around 26,000 to maybe 30,000 given Galan's apparent rank) are but a small fraction of their actual power.

Pretty much what danteiscool said. We've yet to see the Ten Commandments at full power but what they can do at the moment is still impressive. Galan also stated how disappointed he was with Meliodas in their earlier fight so we got an implication that Meliodas was in a weaker state.

Elizabeth got the shaft in her training. It was botched because Zaneli loves Meliodas but since Elizabeth is Liz's reincarnation, Meliodas will never look Zaneli's way.

We have some new faces from the Pleiades of the Azure Sky and Wayeo is back after seeing him last during the victory ceremony. These guys aren't pushovers since they were able to knock out Fraudrin although we got a hint that Fraudrin isn't in complete control of Dreyfus's body.

Exactly. And since magic power seems partially tied to stamina which affects their other stats, chances are their physical strength and willpower are even greater once they regain their magical power.

Yeah, though chances are, she probably still benefited from the training in some way we don't know of yet.

If anything, these new knights seem kind of OP given what their special powers are.

Was the siren knight's partner TRYING to hit her?

I mean, even with the love addiction, what if Dreyfus completely botched trying to protect her?

Considering Dreyfus' level of power, it was probably highly doubtful that he'd fail. Even if he did, the girl probably could've dodged them anyway.

She's familiar with Arden so she knows how he fights.

This werefox character is interesting. Not only if he a thief like Ban but he has the same looking eyes as him. Ban's also called the Fox Sin of Greed.

Exactly.

That's true... wonder if this guy's appearance will have anything to do with Ban's own inevitable increase in power for the battles with the TCs.

I should've saw that the werefox was going to be Zhivago. This chapter really tugged on the heart strings, especially when Zhivago had to make a choice saving either Ban or Therion. Maybe Zhivago has something to teach Ban?

Same.

Maybe Ban's training as a bandit/thief are incomplete and so Zhivago will teach him how to amp his Snatch ability?

So Ban's lover is revived, as an evil Black Lantern like thing.

An immortal and his homicidal lover. I smell a sitcom. 🙂

Immediately thought of the last three panels from this little scene:

That aside though, looks like Ban might just have the shittiest life of all the sins as of now. Seriously, seems like the hits just keep coming for him.

And he's not going to get any slack from the look of things. He may have to destroy Elaine's body unless there's a way to remove that dark soul from her.

Galan's face still looks dented. It was also funny how Merascylla told him not to eat the souls and he 'hmmphed' in response.

However, it is worth noting that her body is still fully whole and not rotted and in pieces like the other ones. And given the other bodies shown rising on screen are humans compared to fairies (thus far), there could be a slight chance that maybe she's a little different.

I know right? But at the same time, it's kind odd given that eating souls restores their power yet she only seems interested in using them to do... something.
