He sounds like a good chap.

He was. 😎

Time though, eroded his interest in discussion boards.

When I find something more interesting then talking about dumb shit on the internet with friends, I prolly will too, till then the show marches on!

Which is probably why I spend much less time on forums than I did back in the heyday. I do a lot of reading and writing in my spare time, when I'm not working, that is.

If you wouldn't mind me asking, could you please elaborate?

I mean, far be it for me to say a T-850 would stomp, because it won't, but I can't see how Wolf would overcome the T-850 in a majority of encounters...

Sure no problem. Cloaking is a big thing here for the Wolf. Plus it's ability to jump unsures it the high ground right away. It's duel plama casters will rock the 850 and enough will put it down. It also has the Disc Shurikens which can easily disable any of the weapons the 850 has.

Since neither have any info the 850 wouldn't know it was looking for an alien capable of turning invisible. The Wolf would know the 850 was different with a simple scan from the helmet or after he shot it and he didn't die.

In close combat the 850 would win more often than not imo but given the scenario the Wolf has every advantage it needs

Except T-850s see in infra red by default.

You sure? The only time I recall seeing a terminator's vision was in T-2 when he was accessing the people in the bar to find clothes.

Also iirc cloaking block the heat signature. That's how the small Predator was able to sneak attack the Berserker Predator at the end of Predators. Could be remember this wrong tho.

terminator 1, when he is cutting of the damaged eye around his visual unit, the janitor walks to the door and the terminator has a list of insults and pickes one to make the janitor leave.

this scene shows the terminators default infra red vision

How would his Yautja War gear make it a stomp? I seen that Term take shots way higher in output then preds Yautja War gear.

I actually think the Predator has enough in his arsenal to defeat the Terminator. I just don't think the Predator will be able to properly utilize it's weapons before the Terminator gets a deadly lock on the predator. I'm sure his plasma canon will eventually cause substantial damage to the Terminator. His blades may even be able to do some significant damage. The T-1000 was easily able to impale the Terminator with a simple metal spear.

The T-1000 is at least as strong as a T-800, though. There Predator needs to catch the Terminator off guard, that it' only chance. A Predator doesn't have the strength or durability to go toe to toe with a T-850.

As I recall it was mentioned all the way back in T1. Also, we see that they can adjust their vision when in T2 the T-800 drives at night without turning on the headlights.

Nah, that Predator just hit him from behind.

Hmm, War geared Preds have powered battle armor that augments it's already formidable physical strength.

^ This topic is specifically about Wolf as he appeared in AVPR.

Although, he did have the power-glove which he performed a Shoryuken through concrete.

This "war gear" has never appeared in the movies so we can't use it here.

Actually, that's not stated anywhere.

*Shrugs*, people use out-of-context shit all the time in these threads. I never stated Wolf would win without the War gear.

Don't go down that path. It leads to nothing good.

Title says Wolf Predator. Specifies what he has in the movie.

Movie Versus Forum.

Wolf wins. His metal will likely severely harm the Terminator. He's faster and is a much better fighter. He was manhandling TWO Xenos at one point.

dude have you seen the hand to hand between the T-100 and the TX-1000

he handled himself pretty well considering the T-100 and TX-1000 have more advanced forms of hand to hand

although the wolf predator is from a warrior race and is pretty elite, i think terminator would definitly woop. anyway the wolf predator knew all about the Xenos and there capabilities.

Wolf wins..all he has to do is use blue liquid. Murder she wrote.

TANT!
