New 'Secret Wars' is Marvel Comics' major event of 2015

"Senitent life" is to the Beyonder the same thing a videogame character is to us. So at a similar level videogames and fiction in general are also for megalomaniacs.

You can pretty much attack and destroy every piece of literature ever by extending the reasoning you're using to criticize Kris's reading of the Beyonder.

I did not mean to imply that you liked the character, or to foist a diagnosis onto you personally, and all that I wish to destroy in literature is the concept of automatically excusing any level of atrocities whatsoever committed by humanised characters with enormous power, as this tends to encourage and validate a certain type of horrible mindset in humanity.

If they are played as completely alien and doing damage by accident, that is an entirely different matter. But first interacting with and learning about people and then being casually willing to commit multiversal genocide simply because others don't wish to play a game according to somebody's will, reads as absolutely heinous to me.

And a fictional character has no sentience. It is just scribbles on a paper.

Again, we can agree to disagree, but I know from experience that this discussion will probably not go anywhere.

Captain America is a fictional character. It seems that you and the Beyonder have found a common ground to understand each other.

And France is a fictional country.

haw-som

Steve lives in our hearts, that makes him real enough.

I agree that the importance of fictional characters is what they represent, i.e. how they affect and inspire real living breathing people. Hence, Captain America is a good concept, and the Beyonder was a bad concept. That is pretty much my intended point.

The Beyonder is not a bad concept, I'd argue that he's a better concept than he's a character. You can misread it and turn it into whatever you want though.

I don't let Claremont decide my opinion on the beyonder, when he's not the one who created him.

He was certainly child-like, but there's nothing "psychopathic" about him.

It'd be pointless to try and attribute these things to the beyonder, when he was so literally beyond everyone.

I mean, do you know what megalomania is? How would that apply to him? He could recreate the universe a thousand times over.

He was god in his surroundings.

To him there's no clear cut boundary between life or death.

There's nothing he can do that he can't undo (though I suppose that wasn't entirely true).

Beyonder was aware of his status as a creature with no equal. There's nothing wrong with that. Do you feel about the water particles when you're having a bath? Or the microorganism that live in the dirt you tread on? Try to be sensible with the scale here. There's no human being that comes even remotely close to him, so it's pointless to try and force human definitions on him.

How did he qualify for megalomania? There were no fantasies involved in this. Everything he wanted was entirely within his capabilities.

Beyonder was in his own mind a being with nothing to do omnipotence has that affect.

😘

Scans of the Beyonders

Thanks for randomly posting gigantic/annoying scans that we all saw weeks ago. Troll on, troll! 👆

Isnt trolling but if you actually search what it means maybe you could actually comprehend the definition.

You know a tip from someone with a intelligence.

^Meh, obvious trolling

Last Call.
Who is Rabum Alal?
Franklin Richards, Doom, Beyonder, Galactus Seed, Valeria etc..

Go!

I'm going with Seed.

I'm going with the hatched Seed as well.

Obviously I'm going with my Seed theory(I kind of have to.) If not the Seed, then hopefully it's Ult. Reed.

...Though how funny would it be if Hickman pulled someone like Newton or Da Vinci(from his run on S.H.I.E.L.D.) out of his ass, to fill the role of Rabum Alal..? g007_teehee

Why can't it be a black transgendered woman?

You oppressive misogynistic bastards

The Seed seems the most reasonable.

Outside that, I have Beyonder because queer and he's the most reasonable if the whole heat death of a universe thing didn't happen at the birth, and Elder Valeria because of the things Young Val echoed, and how she has control of the Council.

Though Allah Ackbar might be using the Council to traverse, and that might be what the library is... meh.

I'm about done with your trolling. If you can't be somewhat civil then it's time you find another forum to post. You've been in the reports, and complaints directly to me, since you joined KMC. Next time it will be a 2nd temp ban.
