Yeah it must be, if you look next to his left leg you can see that line of white that is on Maximus's cloak.
Even more when you think that Maker and Maximus were almost friends in a sense so it wouldn't surprise you that him and Maker were planning something together.

Yeah, maybe. After all, if Doom is focused on The Prophet(who evidently commands "endless" forces), he won't be as focused on the Reeds' other machinations....Though I still think there will be more to him than meets the eye. mmm
I have a feeling the Reeds and this Prophet will be busy with Val and the Spidermen. Just a feeling. Whatever happens I'm excited. I haven't been in awhile with comics either. Just a few more days.

So is this a hard reset to 616? Or does continuity still apply?
Do you mean previous continuity before Secret Wars? In some of the comics there have been references to times before Secret Wars.
For example in Uncanny Inhumans Kang appears talking to Black Bolt saying he broke an oath and that Ahura is now his. So I don't know about a hard reset. Could call it a soft reset. Because there is still some references.

Hmm. All right. I only asked as I'm working on a respect thread and I don't want to end up using things that aren't valid to each other and such.
I'm pretty certain the vast majority of events from 616 have happened, with other stuff just being merged in.
I mean the x-books are referencing the terrigen bomb, spider-man has shown flashbacks from his stuff, Namor is going to be hunted for blowing up Earth 4290001 and Sam Wilson is still Cap. Basically I think most of what happened still happened, with small changes (ie everyone who died during the last incursion etc not dying) and other characters being merged in.
But we won't know exactly what happened till Secret Wars #9.
On that note though, my prediction for the end : Doom loses control of his power, battleworld beings to break up, then Reed/Sue + Molecule Man recreate the multiverse (we know that it exists to some extent post SW) using their knowledge + Molecule Man and the Beyonders' power. Maybe with Doom involved in that too. And due to them not knowing everything this ends up with various characters/areas merging into 616 (or universe 8 or whatever they said it might be called now).
I mean I could be completely wrong but seeing as how Reed/Sue don't seem to be anywhere in sight post-SW them sacrificing themselves to recreate everything seems a solid guess.

I guess I should say when I called it a soft reset I didn't mean like a new universe but you know they're making it seem like a new Universe because they wan't to attract new readers even though it isn't. So it's still 616. AlmightyKFish explains it a bit better.

It's not a reboot so previous continuity still counts.
