I wonder why exactly they needed to add an extra issue, seeing as very, very little really happened in this issue- I mean sure we saw the various bad things happened to Doom's kingdom but it really felt like it could have happened in half the space.
That being said, it might've been it would have but there's lots in the final issues that needed space, so they inflated this 'Everything is going wrong for Doom' thing into a full issue.

It was definitely filler in comparison to everything else. This issue just bridged a gap between issue #6 and #8. All of this like was mentioned before could have been fitted into 4 pages in another comic.

Just because Tom Brevoort says something doesn't make it undeniable evidence for what you say. It is mine and Galan's (unless other people state) personal opinion that it was a filler issue and it could have been addressed in 4 or so pages.
We're not saying that because some hypothetical person said it that we are right. You shouldn't always take your cues from authority and instantly agree with them because of who they are.
