My Costumes Vs. Yours
The Premise
This is a new version of an old thread that I'm retiring because the picture links are dead. You can find it here. Basically, I went unchallenged for six Halloweens. Let's see if you turkeys can do any better this year.
Also, here is the general Halloween thread where we can talk about costumes, post pics, and it doesn't have be strictly about our own costumes or in a vs. setting.
So...every comic character I've dressed up as, vs. any and every comic character you've dressed up as.
I'm posting this early because I want people to be inspired to dress up for Halloween. Or at least think about what they could dress up as.
The Rules
- For you to be eligible to compete, you must post pics of yourself in costume. This means anything sans pics isn't counted, and no posting pics from comics cons and such of others. Because, really, what would be the fun in that?
- "Comic character" is lenient for the purposes of this fight. If they have some kind of comic, we'll allow it.
- There will be two versions of the fight. One with no prep, one with a day of prep.
The Combatants
The Doctor (Authority - Jeroen, not Habib)
The Doctor (Doctor Who - 10th Doctor)
GL Alan Scott (Pre-FP - GL, not Sentinel)
Well this is embarrassing. I can't find my pics of me as Alan. So, for the time being, Alan is taken out of consideration for this thread. I'm leaving this here so that I can edit them in once they're found.
Classic Thor
The Fights
1) First fight w/o prep, neutral setting.
2) Second fight with one day of (relative) prep, neutral setting.
The Doctor (Who) has his TARDIS but does not start in it in the 1st scenario. He can choose where to start in the prep scenario. Sonic Screwdriver is considered standard equipment.
My team is beatable w/o prep, though still insanely powerful. With prep, I'm not joking when I say there's only a handful of characters in any universe that would beat me. The potential synergy between the two Doctors is staggering. Abstract-level power is a prerequisite for even having a shot at them.
