Well its hit the $1.8bill you predicted. Question is if theres enough juice left to make to to the rare and infamous $2billion club.

Im thinking probably not at this point with Deadpool this weekend and Solo next.

Yah...gonna be tough. 200 million is no small amount but I feel it's possible.

You realize you're the only one who hated it, right? uhuh

And only some impotent geezer can complain about the fight scenes going too long 😂

It was basically a finale episode to a whole season (10 years) of MCU and worked great as such.

I know you're secretly butthurt because IF show was a total disaster.

Only according to Rottentomatoes, which has gone up somewhat to counter the SJW's since. 😛

I mean, the critics panned The Orville (Which, I admit, came out way too close to Star Trek to not have been meant as a cut in on their schtick) and trumped up Femme Ghost Busters.

Um, both the critics AND audience scores on RT show that Infinity War was a smashing success. Not sure what you're on about. And when the movie MIGHT become only the 4th movie ever to hit $2 billion dollars then you really sound silly trying to say it was objectively bad.

I was replying to Stilt.

He knows about what. 😛

I am just kind of amazed that people are still impressed by these benig CGI Movies, and the whole Epic Field of Battle. Its been done and to death. I actually get bored by it. But then Imagination and Creativity is something that has pretty much been killed of by the modern era of entertainment.

1.8B now. I have hopes it will beat TFA.

Why?

I agree.

Avengers: IW is to the MCU as Bayformers is to Transformers.

Just turn your brain off and enjoy the pretty cgi. Try not to notice Thor creating an axe was a giant waste of time, and meant nothing to the overall plot. (And why an axe? Just different to be different. Why not make a Mjorbazooka? He can fly around spamming epic level magic missiles that nuke everything.)

Yes. The Marvel Movies are fun Popcorn Movies. A Fun ride and then it fades till the next one where they do lots of the same thing. I just kind of sit there and try to decide if the backgrounds are real or not. That and Scarlet is starting to show her age. Woof.

Urm... to have a weapon he can beat Thanos with..

The whole Battleaxe plot was kind of stupid. What was one of the Big Points of Ragnarok? Thor DIDN'T need the Hammer. For He was the GOD of THUNDER! What is the first thing he does in Inf War. I NEEDS MUH HAMMERS!

I guess He really is just a God of Blunt Objects.

Same thing with Cap A and the "Get this Man a Shield" line. And they didn't even give him a real shield. They just kind of lame wolveine'd him up.

But then all of that is just for toy sales.

The REAL Power of the Marvel C-U!

Which required padding out that stupid drawn out "forging" scene. It was padding, pure and simple.

It's like wasting several issues on a manga where King Arthur quests for Excalibur, gets built up as a savior of the realm, and in the big showdown with ultimate evil: "Whoops, just kidding." Anx he gets killed.

Not cool, Seven Deadly Sins.

Just because he doesnt need the Hammer to shoot lightning doesnt mean having a weapon, to go up against Thanos and his Infinity Stones, wont help.

Yeah. This is kind of a trend of Modern Movies. Crammng to much into these movies. Making something that could be a Movie in and of it self and just making it a small side plot.

Its overload.

No. It was done just to sell Toys.

Disney has to make up all that revenue they are loosing on the star wars franchise toy sales.

The levels of jealousy and butthurt being displayed by ctdm and fly is pretty hilarious. The nerdrage is strong with them

Whatever you say Doombaby.

Indeed

failing to actually use their brain to work out alot of things

as for Thanos's criticism for his big plan wanting to kill off half the people in the galaxy to cull them. It's no different to us humans wanting to cull animal species over the years.

I like Thanos, but his idea was stupid. IW Thanos was a giant half turn from Avengers and GOTG Thanos. When Thanos was first introduced, in Avengers, he was more his comics self with the whole Nihilist thing. Where as he began to change in GOTG, with a complete turn in IW.

I say Thanos idea was stupid for the simple fact he actually destroy the ones that could have come up with a solution to the problem presented. Worse yet, the Gauntlet with his near infinite powers could have been used for a far better solution. Thanos answer is nothing but a short resolution to an on going problem.

That's the thing with Thanos he has solutions for problems but they're not necessary the right ways.
