The films aren't the comics. Why don't people get this.
Of course I get it; their first obligation is to make a great movie...everything else is secondary.
Still, Grandmaster is one of my favorite comicbook characters and I hope they do him justice...
Thats not too much to ask...

Par for course; the Elders are jobbed out frequently and thus often under perform relative to their status...
I'm not implying that they jobbed to Thanos as Thanos is very formidible, but they do lose more often than they should...
Well we'll see what Grandmaster shows up in the film; the version that outwitted and defeated Death herself (and acquired all of her power) or the version that got punched out by Hulk...
Originally posted by TheLordofMurderThat is your opinion but that's also a fact. Thanos has always been beyond the elders. Thanos is the brand villain of marvel for decades so it's logical he is the one they will face at the end of phase three the most ambitious combined cinematic universes plans to date.

Define "beyond the Elders."
He may be more formidible as a whole, but he lacks their raw power...
Thanos with 3 Infinity Gems could not defeat Runner with brute force; Thanos had to out think Runner to get the win...
So yes, I will agree that Thanos is more formidible as a whole (Thanos's intellect and cunning are a big part of his success as a character) compared to the Elders, but he's not as powerful as them...

The runner had the gem and Thanos easily outwitted him. Thanos' mind is his most dangerous weapon. You think so small sometimes it's amusing to me.

Runner had one Gem that he only used subconsciously to teleport (and he never teleported against Thanos thus he never used it against Thanos) while Thanos had 3 that he actively used and still Thanos had to out think Runner to get the win...
And you are small; atleast thats what you girlfriend told me last night!

The overwhelming consensus here at KMC is that you are the loser and the idiot...
And it still doesnt change the fact the the Elders weild more raw power than Thanos...
