Thor: Ragnarok

Immigrant Song makes sense, it is Thor. Probably the first time I've seen it being used so properly.

It's not that good of a trailer

Very good trailer. Short, sweet, and thought provoking. Cannot wait for this film. Hulk is a main eventer and as I claimed Thor will have to rely on skill since Hulk is the obvious powerhouse. Only an idiot (looks and laughs at D. Thor) would say otherwise.

To me it's a very good trailer showing a lot without revealing anything major. Seeing Hulk at the end who will put this film over the top. Hulk looks awesome.

Hulk is fighting a depowered Thor to make it a fair fight 😂. Guess who called it? That "idiot" D. Thor.

False, I believe Thor will have his super strength and skills he just doesn't have his weapon. Hulk already took him on with his weapon. Thor will rely on his skill against the powerhouse that is Hulk. Hulk will always be the powerhouse between the two. This is common sense. It's always been the case from the first avengers movie.

Yeah I'm not sure that Thor has lost his powers, does destroying the hammer depower him? I know the hammer gives him the power of Thor so destroying it might take away those powers?

Well I don't mean completely depowered. But he obviously won't be as formidable without Mjolnir.

They had to do that to justify it being a good fight. Just like in Avengers they had to fight toe to toe on the hellicarrier. They'll always find a way to even the odds, because an all out Thor with Mjolnir could just give Hulk the Destroyer treatment from Thor1. Or Lightning/Energy blast him into rubble like the Chitauri did.

So just slightly depowered? He's still worthy so I guess the powers sort of stay even with the hammer destroyed

Didn't he hold back with Hulk in Avengers? He seemed more about calming hulk down than battering him

We'll have to see the extent of the depowerment without Mjolnir. But I'm guessing he at least won't be able to fly, and his strikes obviously won't be as effective. Plus he shouldn't have the same level of control over his weather abilities. I.e. I doubt he'll be able to whip Hulk up in a Tornado (not that he would do that to his friend and co-worker anyway).

No lightning strikes 🙁

Thor called for Mjolnir but was not trying to hurt Hulk too much lol ok.

Yeah only after Hulk gave him a bloody nose. Even then, not one Lightning shot. Not even a Lightning charged hammer strike. And not even a breeze of wind either.

Can he fire lightning from his butthole?

^ Probably, but it's difficult to aim mid-combat. And leaves him vulnerable.

I'm really torn on this trailer. The fact that it has completely utterly dwarfed Justice League's trailer in views and excitement is a great sign. It also looks like it's going to be a fun and good film, however it is completely not what I wanted as a Thor fan. If they had followed the true Ragnarok storyline it would be completely epic and darker and we're not going to get that no matter what. Thor has been consistently the most Depowered Marvel character and it looks like they're just intent on making it that way for the rest of his screen time which is really retarded. Perhaps the movie will be great but I'm not nearly as excited for it as I was despite the great trailer.

Hela is going to ****ing shit on Steppenwolf as a villain

Finally an MCU villain that isn't weak as shit
