This is good news? 😬
He was terrible.

I'd be interested in seeing what a different writer and director would do with him. He's a talented actor, and if they get it right, they could do wonders I think.

I really didn't think he was bad. It was the editing and studio interference that destroyed everything about the movie.

Always knew Jared was a good actor, but SS convinced me beyond the shadow of a doubt that he was not meant for the Joker... Any change in writing or direction would be hard-pressed to convince me otherwise now, with the awful first impression his Joker gave me.

Joel Schumacher didn't get to do another film after Batman & Robin as he initially planned, but Jared Leto Joker gets a 2nd chance? LMAO

B&R??? oh cmon, man. i agree that suicide squad was bad, but let's be fair.

I'm not necessarily comparing SS to B&R as a film, but everything wrong about Leto's Joker in SS is honestly up there with Arnold's Freeze and other such misportrayals.

B&R is a masterpiece of camp.

So you all can just shut the hell up right now.

Disagree. Leto's Joker at least had good scenes with Harley. Arny's Freeze was bad for me even as a kid who enjoyed Batman Forever.

That said, Leto's Joker was a major disappointment.

I'd be willing to give Leto another chance if they don't make him look like a long lost member of ICP cross bred with an emo kid.

And if what's true about Batman Forever & B&R. WB's wanted those films to go that way with the Campy route because Burton's films were too scary for kids.
