And if you adjust for inflation it further swings towards Star Wars. The new film is a lock for a billion.

It could hit at least 2 billion if it's good, this is JJ, though so we'll see.

As if Harry Potter isn't filled with cheesy dialog. Mark Hamil is criminally underrated, he's easily the best Joker ever.

Why do you like Harry Potter so much? Is it because you're both midgets?

No, he is not. Nicholson blows him out of the water.

Potter is a superior film series. Harry is not a midget you fool. This isn't the hobbit, dummy.

Yoda the most powerful jedi is shorter than a midget.

See that, Quan? Your precious boy wizard can't top Star Wars even with 2 extra movies.
Potter is on top right now and it has a lot more competition these days than Star Wars which really benefited from the timing of its releases.

Hey, let's compare ticket prices in the 70's and 80's to ticket prices in the 2000's.

Right now? What is this, 2010? Nobody cares about Potter anymore, but people are hyped about Star Wars VII.

How about we factor in inflation then?

Bottom line Potter wins.

People are hyped for Star Wars as well as myself. Abrams is set to direct and he is an amazing director. When the new Potter movie comes out bet your ass I'll be psyched for that as well.

🙂

Potter wins with the numbers not being adjusted. It is also a superior film series with far better acting and dialogue.

LOL at this butthurt thread. So this is what you offer after a month of cowardly absence, Quimchi? The same old fountain of attention-whoring trolling bullshit? LOL, what a lame.

Just look at his above post, he basically admits that Star Wars sold more tickets; it's why he refuses to adjust for inflation.

He is basically arguing that fewer people watching HP movies makes it the superior movie franchise, IOW quan just admitted to being a hipster.

LOL Quan is such a monkey. I love how upon realizing that playing numbers goes against him, he immediately jumps ship to saying "better acting and dialogue". The KMC court jester doin his thing I guess 😆

Money says potter. Acting, dialogue, and superior film says Potter. Cry more, virgin.

Exactly. Harry Potter will likely become a fad that dies and fades to obscurity in the next few years and go the way of disco and boy bands, along with hopefully Naruto and Bleach (when the latter ends, really needs to die)

Though to be fair, not too hyped for Star Wars VII "The Force Awakens". What an awful name

Though it has Andy Serkis, so that's got to count for something, right? Meh, idk

Also

>new Potter movie

Bullshit
