Now watch the ending of Sidious vs Maul & Savage and cry. All Maul ever does in the storyline is fail and die.
.

Just like Sidious was against Mace Windu, or in RotJ ? No, Maul is not inferior loser than Sidious, just that Sidious was lucky that Anakin saved him via backstabbing, then killed him via same way.

Btw I love the fact that you think fanboyism effected Vader's role in the mythos. Darth Vader is the first Sith Lord ever written and he has never been overused like Maul. Maul has been saved by the fans far too many times.

Darth Maul shows that how pussy Darth Vader really is, always a lightside inside of him, that is why he never become a true sith, just like Luke said to him in RotJ
''Emperor didn't turned you fully'' how Vader can become a superior sith lord while he still has light side inside of him ? That's ridiculous.

Maul is the most inferior, irrelevant and unintelligent of Sidious' apprentices and there is nothing you can do or say to change that. Deal with it, boy.

Maul is the only true Sith apprentice Sidious ever has. Both Dooku and Vader were sith pretenders. They never trained as Sith, they feel the light once. Unlike Maul is.

Believe me, new is always been better.

TCW Maul (2012) > Dooku (2005) > TPM Maul (1999) > Vader (1983)

Deal with it, Maul become a rival while Dooku and Vader never did. Because they were not a true sith like Maul is.

Maybe you can show me a ''rivalry'' feat for Dooku or Vader ?

lol one quote that can be taken in a different context and all of a sudden Maul is the 2nd strongest Sith evah 😱

Darth Maul >> My own existence

''I can see it in you... a lone light in the darkness refuse to extinguish. Not like me. My darkness... my hatred... is unending.''

''But Maul will be victorious. He is an engine of pure hate. This other... There is too much of the light inside of him.''

What do you think about my ''new'' theory ? New always been stronger ;

TCW Maul (2012) > Dooku (2005) > TPM Maul (1999) > Vader (1983)

I forgot, who ended up surviving and winning that fight?

The Maul vs. Vader fight comes from Star Wars Tales, which even in the old Canon Heirarchy was S-canon at best, IIRC the fight originally was N-canon but fans liked it a lot and they bumped it up to S-canon. That fight shouldn't be taken seriously.

Vader, just like TPM Kenobi did = PIS. I hope you will not say TPM Kenobi > TPM Maul.

Being legends doesn't change the fact here, Vader had the light, that is why he can't be superior.

Vader won cause he stabbed himself and the blade also hit Maul. What was pretty cool though was that Maul died but Vader got up and was talking to the Emperor just fine and then left to go back to the Death Star and participate in the Battle of Yavin.

EDIT: I didn't say it was Legends, I said that even using Legends that fight has always been at BEST questionably canon. I remember that fight actually coming out and being marked non-canon along with the SW Manga stuff that came with it. I guess the fans liked it enough to bump it into S-canon level.

Well he did get taken out pretty quick in the Dark Side ending to TFUII by Palpatine on Endor.

Force Lightning Blitz.

Of course that wasn't canon but as far as I know the dark side endings represent what would have happened were different decisions made.

Sidious kinda sucker punched him there though don't you think? I mean it wasn't entirely a blitz.

In either case it's clear that Vader, like all of Sidious' s previous apprentices, was in no position to challenge Palpatine on his own.

No one's denying this fact. Well except for Marco.

Marco's IQ is the equivalent to a goat's.

I've already explained to you why Sidious considered Maul as a rival. You can repeat the same BS you've made yourself believe in all you want. Unlike you, I'm not gonna repeat my own arguments.

''Maul had grown more powerful since the last time he’d been in Sidious’s presence, but strong as he had become, Maul found himself in awe of Sidious.''

How hard to understand ? Or do you know better than writer of Shadow Conspiracy ?

Addition to this, your sidekicks shows your power level.

Savage Opress => Asajj Ventress > Inquisitor

*Starkiller doesn't count since he become a different thing in the end and also defeated Vader.

Dude! That line just proves Maul was still outclassed by Sidious. The writer of Shadow Conspiracy actually had Maul outclassed to a much greater extent as compared to the final on-screen version, with Sidious being way to fast for Maul to handle in the final fight.

I guess that would make Rebels Vader the most powerful of them all 😛

I have no idea why the hell you are relying on this quote to prove any sort of parity between Maul and Sidious.

LOL NO, they really don't.

If that's the case, did Sidious's power wane as he switched over from Tyranus to Vader (since you believe Vader to be the weakest of Sidious's apprentices)? Is Tenebrous or Plagueis more powerful than Sidious because they had more powerful apprentices? Do you believe Obi-wan>>Dooku>>Anakin because of the power of their apprentices?

*Starkiller doesn't count since he become a different thing in the end and also defeated Vader.

But the Dark Appretice clone would count, not that it really matters as this is a very weak argument to begin with with.

I think I know what is going on here. He thinks that that quote is saying that Sidious feared Maul.

Can you say, self-destruct?
