So I'm 6-7/10
in the Bible, these are the 10 commandments, but the things of the law (of God) are not limited to that...
"I wrote for him the ten thousand things of my law; but they are counted as a strange thing."
Hosea 8:12
my opinion is that this statement is more of a hyperbole, but it did really mean that the laws of God are very plentiful... another thing to note is that these commandments were for Israel:
"Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments."
Malachi 4:4
and most of it are changed and/or amended by Jesus and His apostles in the New Testament... for example:
"You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery.
But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
Matthew 5:27-28
so much for that...
as for the thread ---
as a former Catholic, i'm guilty of violating #1 and #2 in the past...
#5 - i do love and respect my parents, but i had some arguments with them before...
#10 - if Matthew 5:27-28 will take effect, i'm guilty of this - i consider this as my weakness - looking at beautiful female species with lust... 😛
