Whether he is struggling is not the point, is it? Because we don't know how Colossus would have performed.
Because he ran. Under orders from Cyclops, the most tactically aware X-leader ever, who has known Colossus and his power levels like no other 👆

Yes, again, missing the point. Which is that he ran. If under orders from his leader (which I 100% agree with you), then it is because Cyclops believed it was too heavy for Colossus. And Cyclops has a pretty good idea of his own team's capabilities.

So THAT was what was going through Cyclops' head when it was going to belly flop them, and he told them to run, is that what you think?

The rest of the comic doesn't agree with you there, buddy. Cyclops was sure no one was able to tank it, and their only option was to run. Namor proved him wrong, and shocked Cyclops with his strength/durability. Then flew it off.
But if you want to cling to your interpretation, sure. Cyclops thought, Namor can fly, and has the strength to lift it, so let's all run, and then I will call him my lord in an effort to butter him up so he can fly the monster away from us.

But Cyclops may have underestimated the weight of the creature because Namor was definitely struggling to pick it up and carry it.
This also reminds of a fight they had vs a common foe : Sebastian Shaw.
Shaw handed Colossus his @$$. Namor had him on the floor bleeding from his nose.
Just to give you an idea of why this was so impressive. Rogue with her classic Ms. Marvel powers + She Hulk's powers got her @$$ handed to her by Shaw too.
