I just though of something that annoys me.......

Americans calling football, "soccer". 😠

why, thats what its known as here. if we called it football then there would be much confusion. because we would then have 2 sports known as football.

But your sport should just be called American Football, you barely kick it so why not call it throwball?

yeah why should you call it football when teh rest of the world does?
It is called footbal cause the feet is the mian tool in hte game, unlike American football where you either run or pass the ball by throwing.

I call my sport (rugby) football to those who play and at the club cos they know I mean Rugby, but outside that to others I call it Rugby or Union because there are 2 different codes of Rugby. just call it American football, after all it's the only place it's played seriously.
